I wonder a lot if I'm doing the right thing or if she'll resent me for putting pictures on the internet. I like being able to share her with my family and friends via Facebook, especially those who live farther away and we don't see.
Lari Lari I think you're fine. FB is very hackable; that being said, it's your family and friends being able to see her. And family members probably really enjoy watching her grow up via your pictures. Our son is just very leery and I'm aware of that, so I don't post pictures. I still talk about them though. One thing I do is that I use Messenger to send a picture here and there to one of Rick's relatives and to my close friends. I'm sure M can be hacked, too.

So...dinner tonight might be pepperoni rolls. I haven't made them in ages and they're perfect for munching with marinara or a good pizza sauce while watching movies. We did have the pizza last night, but when I mentioned that to Dear Richard about pizza one night and pepperoni rolls the next, he looked at me and said, "So?" Ok then!

Today is going to be a snow removal day!
Still snowing. I think we are getting 9-11 inches before it is done... ugh...
Have to clean off my car, and a bit of shoveling around it. I wish maintence would do it~~ They did when I moved in.. but stopped~~ different property managers!

You would think in a senior building they would shovel between the cars! and the back of cars, from plowed snow!

Ok, rant over....

After that, I do will collapse.. perhaps soup tonight..
Last nights salad did not happen.

I made myself an egg salad sandwich on sourdough bread! I have not had one in many years. I really enjoyed it.

Regular morning stuff..
Cuddle with Geoffrey
Check out snow---with snow gear.... ugh

Winter is officially here... it arrived during the night!

I was very lucky today! I looked out, and saw a couple of kids--well, young adults cleaning a car.
I called my friend, who knows everything in this place. One of the residents, granddaughter and her boyfriend, are cleaning cars! and the area surrounding them!

Considering, we got at least 11 inches of snow, the $20 is a bargain! They began using a couple tiny car shovels. I have a larger shovel in my car. I opened my trunk, and are letting them use it until they finish with all the cars!

Sweet kind kids/young adults. I sent their grandmother an email to that extent.

Now, If I can only keep my parking spot!! They re not assigned.. fingers crossed.

Wow.. first bit of good luck in a long time!!
After I am losing everything in here!!

Put my tube of Aquaphor ointment in the refrigerator, next to Geoffrey's Laxatone!! D'uh... found it AFTER I opened a new tube!!

Now, if I can find my jeans and my belt....

Thin slices of meatloaf reheated in toaster oven, along with a twice baked potato for Himself and reheated sweet potato for Myself. Braised Savoy cabbage for both of us.

Himself had the third (last) sour cherry cobbler and vanilla ice cream. I'm too full for any dessert.

Tomorrow I'll bake apple cobblers.

Idk how tofu always looks so nice in pictures, because it always falls apart for me.
I know! I can't even get it to cube properly before it's cooked, let alone afterward. I think you're supposed to squish all the water out overnight first, or something like that. Which would require planning, which my executive dysfunction is simply not going to allow, lol.

I had fish sticks (the good kind, from Costco) with homemade tartar sauce. Am debating if I should make a veggie side or not.

My recipes call for halving it and squishing out the water for a few minutes, but I even fail at halving it evenly. And then I must not squish out enough water because I try to marinate it and it just crumbles.

Peanut tofu with rice noodles and cucumber radish salad. Idk how tofu always looks so nice in pictures, because it always falls apart for me.

Use extra firm tofu (I think there may be extra extra firm tofu) and press out the excess water for at least 15 minutes or so before slicing / cubing. Place the brick on a plate lined with paper towels, more paper towels on top, place another plate or a baking sheet on top, place a heavy pot or book or a couple of soup cans on top. It doesn't matter if the tofu is sliced perfectly evenly. You're not presenting the dish to a panel of judges or anything unless J is very critical of how her food looks on the plate

Dinner will be pasta and a quick sausage bolognase-type sauce.

Not in the mood for a full meal so I'm making a large sweet potato and spinach salad on the side. A few dark chocolate almond butter cups and honeycrisp apple for dessert. I made DH onion roasted potatoes and reheating chicken I made the other night for him.
