2 Hour indoor walk as usual. Yesterday I had a cooking show on the TV. It's hard because I walk in and out of the rooms, so I don't get to see all of the program. I would turn on all the TVs at once if it was my house!

Usual 2 Hour indoor walk. I think my upper thighs/butt are tightening a bit. At least I hope so. It has only been 2 weeks though, since I restarted my walks after 6 months.

Yesterday I had the radio on in the kitchen and a cooking show on in one of the bedrooms, as I walked in and out. Works for me.

It is a resolution because I haven't been doing much. Yesterday did not go well. I got on our recumbent bike and Austin would not get away from the pedals. I'd shoo him, he'd come back. So I gave that up because I had to start something cooking and got the exercise band. I couldn't do that either because my carpal tunnel is not totally better yet and it was hurting my hand. Husband went out and walked around the house 10 times (an accomplishment for him), but I couldn't join him because I was watching the stuff on the stove.

(I do walk around the house, but not for extended periods of time).

So, excuses aside, I'm going to try to do the bike later when Austin settles down for the day and go from there.

I had an issue with Lola getting behind the rower until I finally accidentally bumped in to her. Now she stays along side me rather than behind me. But if he gets too close, maybe shut him in the bathroom until you are done.

After finishing the year with daily walks, I'm 0 for 2 so far in 2022. Hopefully tomorrow. :walk:

Usually I can stop and let him sniff around a bit, then he goes on his way. This time he decided it would be a good place to lounge next to me. If need be, I'll take him up and put him in the bedroom. But then that scares Cricket and she'll go hide under the bed. I think we'll get it sorted out.

I walked for 2 hours and did 45 minutes of yoga on the 1st and 2nd. Today I'm planning on a longer, 90 minute yoga practice. It's nice weather for a walk, but I have a lot of things I need to get done around the house before I start work again tomorrow.

When I first started taking my indoor walks, Maggie would throw herself down in front of me or throw herself at me claws out as I walked by. Now she's used to it.

Just my usual 2 hour indoor walk. Yesterday I had a Create cooking show on PBS where they were making vegan tuna sandwiches. Couldn't really hear most of the recipe though, since I walk back out of the room so fast. It keeps things interesting though.

Broke the no-walking streak. Only 22 minutes, but better than nothing. M maggiedemi you would have froze to death, as it was only 23F. I was bundled up, though. And no ice, so easy walking.

I should probably join here, though I'm pretty good at exercising.

I've been doing the stronglifts program twice a week - we have a weight rack in our basement, though I've been staying at the same weights rather than going up lately, because it takes longer the higher I go, and I usually have J with me in the jumper and she only lasts so long.

Squats 5x5 100lbs
Bench press 5x5 55lbs
Barbell row 5x5 55lbs

I'm also supposed to be doing daily exercises for my core and pelvic floor via my bladder coach - squats and jumps and bridges, so I've been trying to get all of those in every day, too.

I am only working out M-F. I need to increase upper body strength for sure. Today I did planks, some stationary biking, hand weights, and a barre DVD.

Squats work so well for toning/tightening!!! But I hate doing them, so I don't. What are jumps & bridges? I can't use weights, I always injure myself, even with only 3 pound ones.

Just my usual 2 hour walk indoors. Radio on in the kitchen, TV on in a bedroom. Pet the Demi as I walk by a billion times.

Just regular jumping and jumping jacks, mostly while activating my pelvic muscles so that I don't feel like I have to pee every time I bounce. It's slowly been working. And bridges are where you lay on your back with your knees bent and lift up your hips. I need to do them one legged today, so hard.

I actually have my last call with my bladder coach today. I've made lots of improvement, though my bladder isn't what it was in my teens and 20s, so we'll see what recommendations she give me for going forward on my own to keep getting better.

I just did 45 minutes on the bike, with minimal "help" from Austin. Husband has suggest going outside later and walking around the house if the grass isn't too wet. If he does, I'll join him.

I couldn't do a jumping jack if my life depended on it.

I did a one hour Yoga for Your Core routine yesterday, followed by an hour walk. The core yoga sure feels like it did something!

Just an hour of gentler yoga, 10 sun salutations and then 45 minutes of stretching today

26 minute outside walk. Thought it was going to be cold and damp, but wasn't so bad once I got going.
Still having trouble getting those additional steps to make it to 30 minutes. But I'll get there. :walk:
