We had a frozen pizza tonight. It was Dear Richard’s idea; he wanted to try actually eating something. He ate 1-1/2 slices, but left the outer crusts. I had made apple crisp the other day. He made a smoothie with vanilla ice cream and some apple crisp. Said it was pretty good.

She's had pizza before. She mostly gets a piece of crust. I got it with barbecue sauce, Italian sausage, bacon, spinach and no cheese.

Went to Meijer today and got some DKB on sale. Having a turkey and summer sausage sandwich with chao "cheese", miracle whip and lettuce. And a few chips.
If you can find it try the Amy's roasted vegetable pizza. It's vegan and fantastic.

I have those on my wishlist at Walmart! They have crispy beans, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower. I want to try them all. I'm really impressed with Bird's Eye lately over Green Giant.
Oh, me too! It can be hard to find their wonderful seasoned sides here, though. I may look into ordering them. They're excellent!

Tonight...dunno. If I feel like turning the oven on, I'll have a Marie Calendars's shepherd's pie. If not, something from the freezer that's on top of the pile!

I'm glad Richard is recovering well. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled when I was 23. It went fine and after 3 or 4 days I was eating pizza. It wasn't too hard since I only had stitches in my bottom teeth.

Last night I had a grilled cheese with tomato, tater tots and cole slaw.

Haven't a clue. I asked Rick what he wanted and he's leery of pretty much everything. I have a quart container of homemade (ground) beef vegetable soup in the freezer that I'm sure wouldn't hurt him. He could have that with some applesauce. There's also some chili. We'll see how it goes. That's what I'm thinking.

Not sure I'd like it, tbh. Just looked it up and it looks like it probably has the normal tomato sauce and I haven't been able to make myself like peppers yet. But maybe J would like it.
It does not have a tomato sauce on it. Not like most pizzas. The sauce does have some tomato puree in it but you really can't taste it. The balsamic and the vegetables push the tomato to the back of the flavor line. It also does not have chunks or slices of tomato on it like most veggie pizzas do. I do not like chunks of tomatoes in hot food. The crust is really good. Especially for a frozen.

She would probably love some marinara sauce to dip her crust in.

chao "cheese",
I want to try vegan cheese. I don't think I ever have.

tater tots
Yum. I need to get some tater tots one of these days.

Lunch: Veggie Sammich-- Dad's homemade bread toasted, 1/4 cup Sweet Baby Ray's Honey Mustard Dressing (finished it up), one hard boiled egg, onions, pistachios, penguin crackers, hot okra pickles, 1 slice BJs Muenster Cheese. 1 minute in microwave. One of these days I'll make a toasted sammich.

Dinner: Leftover french toast casserole with 1/4 cup Pistachios, 2TB maple syrup, 1TB Baron's Blazing Hot Sauce. I really need to cut the hot sauce back to 1/2TB. My stomach hurts so bad!

Hm, maybe I'd like it then, though still not sure on the red peppers.

Tonight is Campbell's chicken noodle soup with oyster crackers.

Likely! Except she hasn't quite figured out the fine art of dipping yet.

Some is better than others. I prefer the real thing, of course.

J just dumped all her soup pieces out onto her high chair tray and threw the plate on the floor. Fun times.
