Two days ago, in the morning, my cat kept chattering her mouth (lips) and her front legs were swollen. It's keep bigger btw. Today, I found her lips swollen and it's bleeding. I can’t take her to the vet yet because I don’t have enough money.

So tell me what happened to her and how to treat her at home for a while.

* I can't post her photos now but I will later ...

We cannot diagnose your cat or give you medical advice; however, the combination of symptoms you are describing are quite wide ranging and I can't tell you that this might not be serious or that it is something that can be handled at home. For example, if a swollen leg were known to be from some kind of exertion, then rest and icing might help. If the swollen leg..and both of her front legs are swollen...is fluid retention from something systemic, it could indicate problems with kidneys or heart disease, for example. Chattering teeth can be from dental pain and the swollen lip could be from a dental or mouth issue.

Any update about your cat's lip? How about the swelling in her front legs? How is she doing otherwise?

Not having much information, I was wondering if this is an abscess that ruptured on her lip. However, I have no idea how that would tie with the leg swelling unless she were bitten or stung multiple times by ants or some other type of bug.

Were you able to get a pic of it - and, at least send it to your vet to see what they might recommend? They might be able to suggest some OTC treatment over the phone, thereby avoiding the cost of a vet visit. Or, at least let you know that it looks like an issue that really needs to be checked out. If that were the case, in addition to the link provided above for tips on financial help, perhaps you can borrow the money from a family member or close friend. Sometimes, unfortunately not often, a vet will agree to a payment plan.

Thanks for asking and sorry for the late reply. It's nothing to worry about her mouth. The vet said, it just some infection from the environment. But for his leg, we still can't figure out what's the problem. So she still under the care of vet.
