Our cat had a litter and one of them just wont eat any food they are 2 months old now and he just has his mothers milk. The rest of them eat the dry food but he just skulks and only eats crisp which obviously i dont feed him but sometimes they drop on the floor and hes rapid to the punch. Ive had to put all bags of people food in cubords cos he’ll just try have at them. I can tell hes hungry cos if im eating something he goes ballistic and climbs all the way up my body and hangs onto my arm trying to get the food. Or i find him trying to git into the bin, its funny but a bit disturbing. I don’t understand why he wont eat any of the cat food like he doesn't even eat treats its a bit bizarre. Any one got any ideas on what to do.

Welcome to TCS! :wave3: Have you tried giving him a different type of food, e.g. canned food? Or a different brand of dry food? Have you tried feeding him separately from the other kittens?

One of these Articles might have some helpful information and advice for you:

Last but not least, have you talked with your vet about this problem? I'm sure they would be able to offer their help. Best of luck, please keep us posted on his progress. :alright:

I am surprised he is not interested in wet because of a stronger smell than dry. One of my cats normally likes everything but not canned food with pumpkin. She will not touch it. My cat peaches does not like salmon or rabbit so she will not touch any food
with that. My mom prepared my cats favorite canned food like a loaf so she wouldn't touch it. She likes it in pieces.. Mornings she has to have a topper mixed in like freeze dried chicken

One of my cats prefers to eat with just me and her.

My seven have hearty appetites and I think the competition helps avoid problems. The only one with any food issues is the clearly part Oriental. She was very skinny when I got her and I watched carefully. And she does get fed differently. as a health issue. They all love raw chicken .

Do NOT feed raw chicken to cats, that can give them salmonella. Just boil the chicken in plain water.

Raw chicken and other meat is fine. Ask any raw feeder here on TCS. For cats who won't touch raw meat of if you have concerns about bacteria, plain cooked meat is fine.

TheCatSite.com does not advocate feeding raw food to cats. Over the past years, leading veterinary organizations have published statements on the topic. They all advocate against feeding raw food to cats, commercial or homemade. If you’re considering switching to a raw diet, please take a minute to follow these links and read the full statements–
Statement by the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) –

The AVMA discourages the feeding to cats and dogs of any animal-source protein that has not first been subjected to a process to eliminate pathogens because of the risk of illness to cats and dogs as well as humans.
Statement by the AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) supported by the AFFP (American Association of Feline Practitioners) –

Based on overwhelming scientific evidence, AAHA does not advocate nor endorse feeding pets any raw or dehydrated nonsterilized foods, including treats that are of animal origin.
Statement by the CDC (Center for Disease Control) –

CDC does not recommend feeding raw diets to pets. Germs like Salmonella and Listeria bacteria have been found in raw pet foods, even packaged ones sold in stores. These germs can make your pets sick. Your family also can get sick by handling the raw food or by taking care of your pet.
This is straight from TCS.
