Good morning. We're just one week away from Halloween!

What are some of your favourite Halloween theme or horror movies?

I'm a bit too much of a wuss to watch proper scary horror movies, but I do enjoy classic horror films and the less scary kind. My favourites are the original Frankenstein's Monster, with Boris Karloff as the monster. Bram Stocker's Dracula, the 1990's version with Winona Rider and Anthony Hopkins. And The Hunger with David Bowie. I quite liked Pan's Labyrinth as well. The scenes with the Nazis were a lot more disturbing than the scenes with the faun or the monsters.

What are your favourite Halloween movies?

I cannot watch slasher films or ones that involve home invasions. Also, if the killer is wearing a white/clear mask of any sort, I cannot watch it. Having said that, I like the old Universal monster movies as well as the "new" Mummy, Dracula, and Wolfman. The Others is pretty good. I also am particularly fond of the 1942 Cat People. I just watched it last night.

I also do not like horror films. I do not understand why someone would watch something to scare oneself. LOL. But my kids and nephews like to watch those stuff. I never watch any horror or scary movie alone. Nuh uh. Not in a million years :)

But to answer the question "Nightmare on Elm Street" is one of those few I watched with my family in one of our regular living room get togethers. We also used to enjoy the TV Series "The Walking Dead" especially during its first 2 seasons.

Comedy shows are much better. :)

Hocus Pocus is my favorite Halloween movie; with Halloweentown a close second.

I cannot and will not do any horror stuff....
I don't like true horror movies, either. I'm a wuss and like Halloween-light kind of stuff.

I watched Hocus Pocus on Saturday and the Nightmare Before Christmas last night. I don't think I've ever seen Halloweentown, I'll have to see if I can find that on TV this week.
