Kelly, I just knew Panther would like the tunnel.. both Artie and Geoffrey adored the ones they had/have.

Geoffrey loves to push it around with his head--on the side. I use a wand toy, Da Bee... he loves to be on one side of the tunnel, Da Bee on the other side. He tries to reach under the tunnel for it... or he bashes the tunnel with his head, so he can get to Da Bee.....

Artie used to hide in his.. It was just long enough for his body, not his tail. We used to play hide and seek. Yes Hide and Seek.. Artie was easy to train at playing games...

I think the curved scratcher can help him gain more balance and build up more muscles in his back... Not that he seems to be a weakling... but that was my thought when I ordered it.

It was my pleasure!

Now on to the ESA!!! Hooray!!!

Yes, thank you. That's a good thought about balance. ...and again, really, thank you so much! ๐Ÿ˜˜
Yes, I'm going to go over to my parents Saturday & print out the forms, so I can take them to my NP as soon as I can.
But still ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ™๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ™๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ™ that it all goes well, especially with the landlord!

My dad & I took the crate back to the vets. Got home & was so tired! I guess all of yesterday still. .....& The last 3 wks!
still can't believe it's only been 3 wks.

Thank goodness I have my hair appt tomorrow afternoon. A little something for me, anyway.
I laid down & took a nap from 3:00-4:00, but still just laying here. This is one of those times it'd be nice to have a tv in my room, but don't really want one in here either...
Gotta get up & feed the kittos in a min. It's almost 5:00. They used to always show up & eat around 3, but was to early. Then w/ all this going on, got pushed to 5-5:30, so trying to keep it there.

For the ESA: I did not print out any forms. I had my doctor (therapist) write a letter, "To Whom it may concern" that Geoffrey and Artie (before him) are my ESA guy....But I never needed the letter.

Morning! Had another busy day yesterday. Cleaned the chiropractic office, then had my hair appt. My friend that does my hair was so sweet. After she was done, she said that she wasn't charging me today. It was her gift to me, knowing everything I had been/ was going through with Panther, all the expenses, etc... Her way if helping. I just started crying. She said " well I didn't mean to make you cry." I told her that it was just unexpected, I was greatful, &...tired!
So that was really nice!!
It's also great, because my dad's birthday is this week, & had no idea what I was going to do, or get him. Parents are hard. They have everything already, so for dad, it's usually a Lowes, or Home Depot gift card.

Anyway, Panthers doing great. I bought him one of those cat nip bananas the other day. I gave it to him this morning, & he loved it. I'd never given him any cat nip before, because, well.... he's crazy enough, so I didn't want to contribute to that! ๐Ÿ˜„
His incision looks really good. Once in a while I'll see a piece of the clear sutures sticking out, that he's pulled, so I'll just trim it off, so he doesn't pull it out!
His hair is starting to really grow back nicely. I told him his sassy pants are growing back! ๐Ÿ˜‚

I got something cute for him on Amazon. Something for photos, so I'll try to do that this weekend, & post pictures. It'll be a surprise. ๐Ÿ˜ธ
Doing laundry now. Going to put the heated pet pad in the house for Honey for tonight.
It's still been getting into the mid 80's here during the day, & 60's at night, but tonight it's supposed to go down to 48!. That's a little early for us here on the NC coast.
Also going to send my mom the ESA papers, so she can print them out. Then I'll go get them.
My friend may come over tonight. He's the one that works at the animal hospital for 15 yrs. I'm going to see if he'll help trim Panthers nails. It's been 3 wks, & they're getting sharp again! He actually got me last night. So..Nope!!
I think I'm just going to have to close my bedroom door at night. He's not letting me sleep. He does at first, then anywhere between 3:30-5, he decides to try & get my feet! After doing that last night, I put him out, & closed my door, but not latched all the way. He came BK in about an HR or two later. Settled beside me. Then I turned on my bk, he climbed up. Then needed to turn to my other side, & so he settled there, but wanted some pets, so was doing that, then don't know what happened, but he lashed out & got my face! Luckily I turned my head, & sat up quick, but he got a couple licks in!
I got up & put alcohol on it. Just 3 small places. Above & below my lip, & one on chin. So after that, I was like, nope!! Out!!
So carried him out, saying, no, no. Put him in the other room by his bed, went bk & made sure my door was all the was shut this time!
I hate to do it, but think I'm going to have to keep him out of my room at night. When I got up, both rugs in front of both doors were pulled up at the corners, like he was trying to get out....
:sigh:
He's also occasionally nips at my leg or foot while I'm fixing his breakfast. I don't like that either, & look down & say, no. ..or I've hissed at him, so he understands. ๐Ÿคท

Took this this morning.

We're back to his regular litter box. It's only 4.5" in front, so same as the low sided ones I'd seen. The one I made was just way to messy! Also, put the top piece/ sides on, & helps. He's pretty neat. Love that! This is after he's used it... almost nothing to vacuum up!! ๐Ÿ™

And last, a picture after my hair appt yesterday. Took it at a red light. The color shows better in the sunlight. ๐Ÿ˜Š It's nice to have it blown out. I get a few days out of it!

Thanks! Yes, I just looked at a few sites, & they all charge you. I guess I didn't think about that. Cheapest I saw was $79, others
were $99-$150!! I guess I'll have to wait & call my NP this WK, & ask. So ๐Ÿคž guess I was hoping it'd be easier. Just get paperwork & he'd sign it!

Both of you are awesome! I mean it.

Panther is feeling his oats!!
He is used to getting up early, since he was outside, to hunt for his food. You are also his friend. He is trying to play with you as he would another kitty.
Glad you are getting his claws trimmed. I do Geoffreyโ€™s ever 2-3 weeks.

I think the best thing to do with the ESA letter is to have your NP write one our, and have the doctor signing it, along with her as a co-signer.

just a thought.

I would not spend money, on line for any forms. No way. Do not trust it.

Thanks Cindy. Yes, I just emailed him, & told him to that we may also need a Dr.s signature. Luckily, last month I had an appt with one there, because he was out. ( After not feeling great, & that's who changed my BP meds). I liked her, & I did get teary about something when talking to her, so that may help... As far as her being the one to sign. Especially having seen her recently. It's a good thing I think. Also told him that some of the qualifications listed were stress & anxiety which I definitely have! So ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ™ (& he knows what I've been through with all the kitties. I reminded him of losing Angel & Sammie both to cancer, & now this.... Every kitty I've had... something!)

I managed to get two nails cut, the ones that looked the sharpest, but that's it. Got hissed at for both! Made me a little nervous, because his are pretty dark. Not as easy to see through like my other twos were.

Morning! This was yesterday morning ๐Ÿ˜Š

New video by Kelly R

These were taken last night before bed.
(trying to engage him in playing in there, so I could go to bed & close my door). It went pretty good! (knock on wood!!) He didn't wake me meowing until 6:00. Let him in cuddles & scritchies for about 20 mins, then bk to sleep until almost 8:30. So YAY! I got 8 hrs!!!

We had a good play session this morning, & this is only part of it. We also played on the couch a little. ๐Ÿ˜ธ๐Ÿ˜Š. So of course now, he's laying on the ottoman resting. โค
Maybe tonight, I'll let him play with a ball or two. I already got one out yesterday, but was the bigger fuzzy brown one from the old cat tree Angel had. I knew that one wouldn't fly as far as the others, so started with that one. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Just took this....๐Ÿ’” So sad, BUT... until she learns to trust me, so I can treat her, she can not come in. I know she must be full of fleas! She's been ferral all her life, I just don't know if it's going to happen...โ˜น ...and then it would be hard, because he can't go out, & she probably will not come in & let me shut the door, so it can't happen..

Yes, very sad indeed. ๐Ÿ˜ฟ She either wants to come in or wants Panther to come out or both. I can see she's talking (meowing) but can't hear anything in the video. It must be so difficult for you but you're right, i.e. without being able to treat her for fleas it's not the best idea for her to come into your house. You may have already mentioned it but did your vet give you any advice about how to treat her?
