I nearly missed the whole outage. Normally I pop on between school things but we are on fall break so we were out doing things for a change. I tried to get on while waiting on DH to find shoes and it just said I had no internet connection. I didn’t think too much about it and when I tried later it was back and full of joked already.

I was aware of it, but at first I thought we were having an internet outage because it'll randomly go for a few minutes sometimes, until I realized other websites were working and googled to find out about the outage.

I checked a few times to see if it was back, but I didn't go through major withdrawal.

:flail: :flail: :flail:my friend from michigan is suffering facebook withdrawals since it crashed this morning:lol:she keeps txting i want it back hehe poorgirl i told her be glad your kids arent hooked on it to or it would be worse
I slept through it all. However, what really made me laugh is that FaceBook was reduced to announcing the issue on Twitter, and Twitter promptly resonded with, "Welcome literally EVERYBODY!"

Is it just me, or does the stinkbug infestation seem worse this year? I see four on a wall right now, and three crawling on the inside of the window-and that's just today. It's never been this bad.

Well, we got to take our cats in for their exams and shots today. While they were seen by a vet, it wasn't their vet, but rather one from another practice. I just hope that by this time next year things will revert to some semblance of normalcy. By the way; 5 cats for exams and shots came to almost $500.

I just got my flu shot, and she must have hit a nerve or I tensed up without knowing it, because it HURTS!! Ow, ow, why? Hope it doesn't bruise too much
Tech tip for next time...just let your arm dangle loose. It is impossible (or almost so) to tense the muscles in a dangling arm. It's saved my cookies on many an occasion.

Guy came and wanted to pick up his backpack. Was going off in the lobby to anyone who would listen to him about how he wasn't doing anything wrong and now has 6 misdemeanors against him  and how the cops disrespected him  and how he should be able to do whatever he wants just like George Washington used to  .Oh how I wished I had access to a taser. Now that would have been fun. :devilish:

The other day, I had my yearly physical. I had to be fasting. By the time the appointment was over, it was almost 11:30am. I was starving and feeling out of sorts.. needed coffee and food..

I stopped in the nearest Dunkin.. There was a woman being served, who was really crazed.. She was yelling and screaming at the staff.. complaining about them "disrespecting" her, and how they were wrong..
On the way out, she knocked over, several items: a wet floor sign, and a few other things..
I had to watch my car, as she was cutting through the parked cars, trying to cross the street...

I never did get my coffee and bagel bites there. They were so slow.. probably had to decompress, after her....

I left, thinking that the time I put in waiting, I could have been halfway home!!!

It would seem that the concept of personal responsibility is merely a quaint notion in today's world. It's never my fault; it's that guy over there. He made me do it. Also, even if I'm a low-life slimeball, I deserve respect, don't you know. In my world, respect must be earned every day; it's not a given for anyone at any time.

The guy was telling his woes to anyone who would listen to them. What was funny was that he was going off about the Police... surrounded by Police. 🤣 I am surprised he didn't catch more charges.

I did! So she must have hit a nice fat nerve ending. It stung for a good 10 minutes. So far no bruising though.

A Sovereign Citizen, I assume. Those guys drive me crazy.
