Just hang in there! You may have seen some pre-labor contractions.

My cat’s belly was hard for a good week or more before she gave birth, but because it was so tight I could really see the contractions when they came rippling down her sides.

She’s getting there!

Should I be worried that squirt keeps having brown gunk on her vagina?
I read that they can lose their mucus plug 3 days to 1 week before birth and she has been having this brown gunk for a while now, though it's not that much at all. I have caught her over the past 2-3 days laying with Salem's kittens under the sink and she currently just went in there now and is just laying with them, Is this something I should be worried about? We got tigger fixed as soon as we could I think it was on the 31st and when I put that date in a cat pregnancy calculator they say like the 28th till the 4th and that was yesterday. I will post a picture of her privates later today but there isn't that much gunk at all especially compared to Salem's 5 hours before birth. I could just be impatient but I swear I figured she would have them by now.

Hello! I am really worried! Squirt has moved in with Salem's litter and I have caught them going at her nipples and moved them when I saw this. Really worried she won't have enough milk for her babies if they take it all before they are even born!! What do I do???

She was sprawled out on her back letting them. And it seems like just the bottom two have been fed on.

Another question. How long should it take them to learn how to use the litter box? As of right now they just eat the litter!

I introduced them to it when they hit 3 weeks. And from what I was reading it's okay to use non clumping clay right?

Squirt is back with the babies and just caught luna with a full mouth of milk from squirt!! Really need some advice here as I don't want her to be out when she gives birth!!! 😭😭

Babies are off her right now and sleeping near her but there is no more movement in her belly she is breathing fast and purring up a storm, Also producing milk from all her nipples as I saw Luna with a mouthful when I pulled her off. Really need some advice here, do I move the kittens out of there area because it seems like squirt will want to have the babies where Salem takes care of hers. I don't know what to do. Please someone give me guidance as to what I should do in this situation. Is it okay for 3 week old kittens to be suckling on Squirt's nipples when she is probably going to give birth soon? Will there be enough milk for her own litter? :confused2:

Move Squirt to another room if you have one for kitten nesting.

I don't have another room and I cannot pick her up. What do I do? Do I move the kittens?

I read somewhere clumping litter is unsafe for kittens, but do not know why. Someone else can explain if that is true. What litter are they using?

Non clumping clay and it's not scented or whatever.

The only thing I can think of is setting up a spot in the closet for Salem and her kittens because Squirt seems to want to have her kittens under the sink. Idk what to do...

Is it okay to just leave her with the kittens? Am I right to be worried about them drinking Squirt's milk??

Is it a walk-in closet? I don't want any cats to be in a wall closet with sliding or bifold doors.

If both litters drink milk from each other's mom, I would not worry about it. Lactating queens sometimes do that in foster houses, where somebody might have orphan kittens at the same time. I don't know how common that is, but it happens.

It is a walk in closet and I made another nest in there and put Salem's kittens in there and Salem. She fed them in it and seems fine with it but when I came back Squirt was in it. I am convinced that she just wants to be with Salem's kittens and will move to any where I put them. I am just worried her kittens won't have milk because she wants to feed Salem's kittens.

first picture is where they were and the second is what I just made for Salem. The third picture is a picture of Squirts vagina right now and there is less brown gunk and more clearer gunk and she is having a really hard time breathing right now. Might be tonight? she is producing milk and might have been yesterday so it's anytime now. Hope she has milk left over as it seems I can't keep them apart.
Can anyone tell me if there will be enough milk left for her babies when they come? I am just worried about that.

Well, Salem's kittens are Squirt's new brothers and sisters, right? IIRC you said Squirt is Salem's daughter.

When you see Salem's kittens with Squirt, are they already latched on her teats? If not, you can move them back to Salem as long as none of the cats complain.

I'd just wait to see what happens when Squirt has her babies. Obviously keep a close eye on them but don't rush to separate them. You may find the they two queens lump all their kittens together and share nursing duties with both of them feeding all the kittens.
