When I first adopted this very hungry stray kitty, she ate anything and lots of it. Dry food, canned paté food, canned wet food, Fresh Pet, bits of chicken and fish - ANYTHING. Now she won't touch any canned food, won't touch the Pet Fresh (which, my dogs used to LOVE) and will eat a little bit of chicken or tuna but only if I give it to her as a "treat" rather than in her bowl. (I got her a nice raised, shallow ceramic dish for cats but she won't eat a thing out of it.)
She'll only eat dry food - Iam's Proactive Health - I serve that to her in a puzzle bowl so she can't scarf it down.
Is it weird that a cat would prefer dry food? I'd ideally like her to have a better diet, but I can't account for her preferences.
