Prize if you can beat this one:

My cat Pip likes to sit behind me on the chair when I'm working. She is sweet and likes being around people, but is just genetically a tad skittish, and that is the spot she likes. I'll tolerate it for a bit sometimes, and pet her behind my back without looking. Today, I felt what I was sure was a scab. I felt around a bit, trying to feel the issue. Then I turned around and realized I was fingering her *ss. Not a happy moment!

I've been lucky with all my cats. But, at a party the hosts cat came trotting in to the living room with a used tampon dangling from her mouth.

My husband also likes to tell the story of Artemis, his best friends cat. She came in to heat the day after she was brought home. They isolated her in my husband's room because she was annoying the (neutered) boy cats. I'm the morning, she tapped him on the face and meowed. He said, I'm sleeping, go away. She patted his face again and meowed louder. He said, whatever it is, it can wait. At that point, she peed on the pillow. They had forgotten to put a litter box in the room!

My previous cat did that to my estate agent, raided her handbag when we were walking around the house, didnt embarrass me, did her..lol
Went across the driveway to meet my new neighbor and the cat promptly peed on her leg, not the best introduction.
Blue bit the electrician who was putting in a new air conditioner on the bum.

Keep them coming!

I'm pretty clear no one is "beating" mine though lol. Although who knows, maybe someone put their foot into a shoe with a dead mouse, then accidentally dumped the mouse on their head when shaking out the shoe. That might be close!

Im not sure any more ( as a cat lover, ive lost perspective).

Is it embarassing when your guest sits down for dinner and 44 lbs of cats jump on the table, lay down and stare at him?

I think they knew he wasnt a cat person.

(I suppose I made it worse by getting my tablet and taking a pic, instead of shooing them off the table and at least pretending to be embarrassed)

Maybe they were wondering how he’d taste with a little Kikkoman or Frank’s!!!

If you dont know the boys, they can be intimidating. They are unusually large, have an intense stare and are almost identical.
Try not to get too bent out of shape about counters and tables myself so I understand the tolerance for it, but not sure I could manage it with a glass table and giant paw prints!

My hubby's friend was visiting us for a long weekend and thankfully he is a cat person. He was asleep and my two youngest adult cats got the zoomies. They used him as a race track during their play time and scratched him up quite a bit. The next morning when we woke up we were informed that we were out of rubbing alcohol, Neosporin and regular size band-aids. Our guest did not even wake us up after what happened. He simply cleaned himself up and covered up the scratches. He grabbed an extra blanket to cover himself up and went back to sleep. He fed our cats some wet food and they settled down after that. He has been visiting us for years and this was an isolated incident. No medical attention was required from this incident. We offered to pay to have the scratches checked by our primary doctor if he wanted to do that and were turned down. Our guest looked at it as a normal part of being around cats.

I think Neko-chan's mama Neko-chan's mama is the most embarassing: I've been lucky with all my cats. But, at a party the hosts cat came trotting in to the living room with a used tampon dangling from her mouth.

I think I might be able to beat A ArtNJ . My cat Salem was whining in the middle of the night for attention. I being half asleep, just plopped my hand over the side of the bed and Salem pushed her nose into my hand for pets. Some time later, she came back and my hand was still over the edge of the bed. I felt what I thought was her nose being pushed into my hand and I half consciously started rubbing it. Only to snap awake a few moments later after realizing that she was licking my arm while I was rubbing her "head". Yeah I was rubbing my cat's butt hole and yeah she seemed to be enjoying it.

Well, that is basically the same story isn't it? So I think we are tied for first place! Lucky us lol!

I made jokes about this for probably a solid two weeks. That is how I roll, drives the wife a bit nuts, though she often laughs!
