My morning started well with my tree being cut down but the afternoon with the dementia auntie was a challenge. She was having a not great mental day and I had to spend a good deal of time explaining how to use the cordless house phone that she has had for at least ten years. My patience wore off before everything got done so I am going back tomorrow for hopefully just a short while.
That is my biggest fear is that one day I'll have dementia or Alzheimers. That scares me to no end, more so then the thought of being gunned down or not physically able to do for myself. Since I was adopted I have no way of knowing if it is something that runs in my family or not, but everytime I forget something and at 65 I go into a state of panic hoping I am not getting early demetia (guy up the street has it and he's 62).

Meanwhile
The daily morning ritual begins. Sopdet left around 4:30 am. Now at 6:30 Treasure is running around in a state of panic looking for her. And I have a haircut at 8:00 this morning so I can't go messing around. I'm trying to drink my coffee and get ready for a shower. This happens every single morning.

Got my Apple Pencil just now to go with the iPad Air 4. Needing to practice but I do a lot of things that require my signature. A regular stylus just doesn't cut it. I really get more inspired to write my stories this way too (pen and paper) only this time not wasting paper.

Mooch had a vet appointment today for an annual checkup. We did curbside because they only want one person in with them and I didn’t have a sitter for my kids. Quieter is probably better anyway.

She was very happy to be home but spent the next few hours keeping an eye on me. 😉 And demanding crunchy treats!

Also my son is REALLY talkative today. Hes been playing with and designing Gravity Trax all week. (A very cool marble run toy.) But instead of letting me watch the marbles roll he has to stop them and show me every detail!:lol2:

Well, SPIT! My pneumonia did not totally resolve at the hospital, and has crept back up. Apparently, there were just enough little germies left to heed the admonishion to "be fruitful and multiply. Thankfully, I have a doctor who seriously listens to me. I phoned him yesterday, he said, "I think you are almost certain right," and called a prescription in. I saw him today, and we confirmed.

I'm ok, but worn flat down with it, so I may be hit and miss for the next few days.

Does anyone know of a good film screen protector for the brand new iPad Air 4 (came out last year) as well as the iPhone 12 Pro Max? I'm sick and tired of seeing scratches on the screen. I can't do the hard case as heavy for me to hold especially with the nerve damage but just the film (like when you had the phone carrier service put some film on the screen. Sorry I don't know all the terminology.

Look for glass screen protectors on Amazon. They are so much easier to put on and won’t scratch as easily as plastic.

How heavy is it? The 12 Pro Max weighs 3 lbs so I can't be holding much heavier, ya know? The iPad Air 4 is surprisingly light as a feather.

Check out the New York Times Wirecutter website. I’ve always found it a good resource for these kinds of things.
