So when my husband moved into my house, he brought his cat with him. Socks is about a year old and accidentally got out in April, don't ask the date because I have no idea of the precise date. We discovered she was pregnant a few weeks later. Yes, we plan to spay her right after this, we were going to before she got out but she escaped for a few days. I refused to spay after the escape in the event she was pregnant.
We know she's about to have her kittens. I'm just unsure of what to look for. I've already got kmr just in case. We have her in our room to keep the other animals away, except my service pup and he's been pretty protective of her lately. She moves around a lot, like she can't get comfy. Her temp tonight was 99.7. And I've seen her licking herself twice but haven't seen her do it since earlier. I'm not even sure if she's nesting. Any info you all can give me will be greatly appreciated!!!

I always notice my cat when I was younger that before she had her kittens she would excessively lick her self down there and she would start stealing cloths and stuff and bring them under my bed then out of no where would see her popping them out but back then I legit thought my cat was pooping kittens lol as I got older and the more kittens she had it was the same thing over and over my mom was this crazy cat lady we had so many cats

Hi, my cat is right around the same time frame
Of pregnancy. I took her to the vet earlier this week and she has 5 kittens to deliver (she doesn’t even look pregnant lol) the doc said within the week...

I notice Pepper trying to escape to
Go out side more now. She is also getting into drawers and closets more. She has lost a lot more hair around her nipples as well.

Other than that she is just hanging out lol. She isn’t cleaning excessively yet either... they say some
Gets get more affectionate right before so maybe if you see her cleaning your service dog? That might be a sign?

I see socks trying to get out as well. We've been keeping a very close eye on her. We haven't noticed too many signs other then the cleaning and moving around like she can't find a comfy spot. I might as well add that she spends all of her time near me, sleeps on my side of the bed, whether it be on the floor next to me or on the bed. Shes sitting in front of me currently. I think she has chosen me as her person with this so I realize I'll have to be near when she does give birth. I haven't seen her clean herself today yet and I can't check her temp as my thermometer broke this morning. 😭
