Sorry about Panther's mishap. Hope your nose heals with the antibiotic ointment. He's definitely a little stinker but also a lovebug. πŸ˜‰
Honey is cautious but coming around on her own time. Fingers crossed she will get closer to letting you pet her. :crossfingers:

Hey Kelly, glad to see you have some furry ones to love again. Panther is a stunning cat, does he stay in all night or does he still ask to go out ?

Hi Eric! Thanks. Yes, he is a beautiful boy πŸ’™. He's turned out to be a love, but can still be a little "spicy" sometimes, as you can see! I guess he doesn't like being told no. Lol! No, he definitely loves the outdoors. He's only stayed in by choice 3xs, & it's tough, because when I get up to go to the bathroom in the night, because he's in a bed under mine, he comes out, & was attacking my feet or legs when I tried to walk just a few steps back to bed. I don't know what that's about, but can't have that. So weird too, because it's so out of the blue, even after love'ns...🀷. But...he hasn't done it from the door to the kitchen when walking with me to fix their food in a good while.
He is almost doing this zig zag in front of me trying to walk, antisapating my steps. So I've just learned to walk one slow step at a time, or a kind of toggle walk, w/ him walking between my feet w/ me.....he's just got to be right under my feet! They are hanging out here a lot more. Longer that they used to, so that's good. They sleep in "their chairs" or up on the hill behind me, by their tree. I'd like to eventually try to get a little bench w/ coushons out there in place of the chairs, because sometimes Honey will try to jump up on the chair Panthers on to lay by him. πŸ’—
I was just giving her treats, since the treat monster wasn't around & tried to get her to eat one off my open hand on fingertips...nope! I got the cutest little hiss ever!! I just laughed!!! I said " are you sure you're not a kitten, instead of an old lady?" πŸ˜„ It was such a little baby hiss. πŸ˜„πŸ’— Bless her heart!

Hi Eric! The kitto's are doing good.
Your intuition must've sensed something was up, because
I however, had a bad week. The Wednesday before this past, my low back went into spasm. It was pretty bad, so just now starting to turn the corner from it a WK & a half later... The day before, I'd cleaned my biggest house, ...hardest job. A historical house downtown. They're the best clients, but it's a big job! My back was pretty sore, so I did my stretching, & my muscle stim a few xs. ( It's something I found that's stronger & deeper than a tens unit, but same idea. It's called the NeroMD. I don't think I'd be able to work w/I it now!).
I have a vertabre that didn't close all the way at birth, ( just learned this through x-rays about 6 yrs ago. It's called spunabiffida occulta). I also have some degenerating disc, at L4 ,& 5 , so unfortunately I'm always sore.
Anyway, so the next morning,( last Wedns) ,
I felt ok, & was getting ready to leave for work. Well, I extended My right leg to push the pettle to open my little bthrm trash can, & there it went! Felt like the center of my spine in my low back seezed up! ...I missed 4 days of work!! I just started back this Wednesday. My mom helped me that day, because it was a 2 story townhouse,& knew I wouldn't be able to carry the vacuum up & down the stairs. I was off yesterday. Today I had a 1 story townhouse, but w/ 3 dogs! So I managed & did ok. I was actually having anxiety about it this morning though, because I was so afraid for my back.
So.... I'm so glad it's the weekend!! More resting. Still having to take 3 ibuprofen instead of 2. Seems to be the only thing that helps. I'll probably tapper back this wknd & see how it feels. I know it's not good to take a lot of that, but has been nessesary for the time being. It seems to happen about twice a yr. I think I'm going to ask my Dr. If some PT would help. I think it would.
So.....it's been quite a week & a half!! :sigh:
....sorry I wrote a book answering you!

How are you doing? How's your boys? 😊

Hi, she's doing good. Came in sniffing around a little again the other day, but only when I'm over in the kitchen fixing their food, & bk turned. πŸ˜„. I don't know for sure how old she is, but my friend, who worked at a vertinary hospital thinks she looks between 7-9 yrs old. I'd probably say closer to the latter. I have seen her play a little more outside occasionally. Just doing that shuffle the leaves thing. I also think there are moles under the ground, & they sense them, so that's what all that silliness is out there, because Panther has done it too. They crack me up!
I'd still love to get an animal community here some day, & see what info she can get. 😊

It's been rainy since Thursday. We finally got a little break this morning, so I put their towels bk out on the chairs. For now anyway... The radar shows it starting bk up again around 1:00 this afternoon.
Panther doesn't look comfy at all...πŸ˜„

Those injuries that never really heal are a bummer. I have something going on with my neck and sometimes wake up with a brutal neck headache. So I feel your pain, literally. I find taking 1 Naproxin and one Ibuprofen work great together. I hope that you are feeling better.

Thanks Eric. I'm sorry you're dealing with that too! Have you tried chiropractic?
Yes, I just bought some Aleve today but will have to try that.

Oh, I would also highly recommend a tens unit. It will definitely help with any muscle issues as well. I'm so happy I found something called the NeroMD. It's similar to tens, but better. Deeper. It has saved me with my low bk. The pads are a little large, so it doesn't really work for the neck. So a tens would be better for that. You just can't use the NeroMD with in 4" of the heart.
( I had called to ask if it was safe to use on my traps as well, & was told that).
I use it every day after work on my low back. It's the only reason I don't go into spasm more!

Hi friends, I was going to post some new pictures from the last couple of weekends, but the weekend seemed to get away from me... So here's some now, to make a Monday better. 😁

This was the weekend before last.

"why yes, yes I am a handsome, shiny boy." πŸ’™

More kisses mom!

Then, one morning last week, I heard something in the spare room, & looked & he was on the cat tree! I had only taken it out for him once before, & he remembered it.
( I hadn't had it out, because he wasn't in that much, & didn't really have a good spot for it here. Wanted to put it at the end of the couch, by the slider door, but was to big. Plus, was a little afraid to have it out, in case the landlord happened to be around...😬)
So...I dragged it out. He loves it, & has been having the best time on it! So, I just figured out a place for it. It's so big, it stuck out to much, where I originally brought it out, but ended up just putting it in a tight spot between the desk area, & the entertainment center. Not esthetically ideal, but is out of the way, & he still has a ball playing on it. 😊

"I luvs myh cat tree!" 😸

Here's some videos I took of him playing on it. πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ΊπŸ’™

This was last Monday.. crazy boy!

Oh yeah....and I finally got a new couch, (thanks to some of the stimulus money!)
( & My professional discount!)
I'd been looking at this on Wayfair for a while, & was finally able to get it. It's a little firmer than I expected, but love the versatility of it. The chase lifts up for storage, & the whole back reclines or lays all the way down for guest sleeping. You just pull it forward & clicks back into either place, like the old lawn chairs. 😊

Panther has come such a long way thanks to your TLC. :dancingblackcat: So nice to see him enjoying the cat tree too. How much time would you say he averages coming inside your house now?

The couch is amazing! I've never ordered anything from Wayfair, did you have to assemble it and, if so, was it hard to do?
