Dusting the fans is probably one of the few things I do often enough. That swiffer that extends and bends at the head makes it so much easier! šŸ¤Ŗ
MoochNNoodles MoochNNoodles How was you anniversary dinner?šŸ’–
Um we had Pizza Hut and frozen yogurt. With our kids. The frozen yogurt was really good! Weā€™ll hopefully celebrate this weekend when my mom can watch our kids. But hey in the past weā€™ve taken them to dinner with us. So it wasnā€™t bad. Just not especially romantic or anything.

You're not alone. šŸ¤— In the past, when our kids were younger we would take them out to celebrate our anniversary too. After all, they are part of our family - if we could take our cat out with us to the restaurant we would do that as well.šŸ˜‰

I have a BIG positive for today. After 9 long months my dental implant is complete and I got my new tooth today! Now that they have lifted many of the mandate restrictions like face coverings if you're fully vaccinated it couldn't have happened at a better time.

Weā€™re really not the type to get all gussied up anyway. We loved takeout on the couch before the pandemic was a thing.

I finally got a picture of Olympia! It was sunny when I first got up, then it stormed off and on for most of the day. Around 8, I took Hobbit out in his pack-and-play so that I could pull weeds while the ground was soft. That is when I remembered to get the picture.

Also, I cannot remember if I posted this one, but here is one of my latest paintings. I just varnished it today. There is a small one that I finished late last night/early this morning and a large one that just has the underpainting started. My husband likes this one a great deal, even though it is more my preferred style than his. I may be converting him! Haha! The light is glaring a bit.

Good luck with Olympia. :goodluck: I love the color too.

Your latest painting is exquisite. Will you put it in the gallery exhibit that you mentioned a little while ago?
Thank you! It will be in the gallery exhibit. My husband wants to keep it, but I reminded him that we do not have enough room in our house for all the paintings! Haha! If it does not sell, I might have to find a space for it to make him happy, but that would mean he would have to be okay with removing a couple of other ones since this is a large painting. Maybe we can have a painting rotation throughout the year. Or, I can just not show him anymore until some sell!

One week post cataract surgery today. While my eye still has periodic twinges of discomfort, my vision is now crystal clear in that eye.
I am so glad it turned out well for you. Do you have to wear sunglasses or anything?

We've had hot and over the top humidity all week but it should be ending soon. I've been eating Popsicles and frozen
fruit bars all week; My body has not yet adjusted to the change but I hope it will soon as I want to spend time on the deck.

Yesterday Cal and Tux, her new boyfriend since Rebel dumped her, were out for an hour!!

Popsicles! I have been on a popsicle bender too, and apparently most of the state has been as well It took THREE stores before I found them in stock.
