This will not start out as a positive so please bear with me - while weeding and mulching earlier in the day I discovered a dead robin behind our a/c. I cringed because I feel sad for any living creature that passes. I quickly scooped her up, I'm pretty sure it was a female, and gave her a proper burial. Then I said a silent prayer.🙏 My positive is two of the four birdhouses in our yard are occupied so that's good news. And if the bird had to pass away she took refuge in our yard. :hearthrob:

DH got all the shutters back up on the house today and they look great!! Its a lighter green than I expected but its also in full sun right now. And I’m not repainting for at least the next decade! :dizzy: All that’s left is to redo the trim on the shed so it matches. But I’m not in a rush.

I just got my first haircut in almost 16 months!! It ended up way shorter than I anticipated. I look like Marci from Peanuts without the bangs. :flail: But my stylist needed to take off at least 10” to donate. And then a bit more to straighten it out. So now I just need it to grow in fast.

But the really good news is my hair has recovered from all the stress related hair loss I had going on. My stylist said the vitamins I’ve been taking are helping too. (Olly brand Hair, Skin & Nails.) For some reason my gray is less noticeable. So it shouldn’t take too long to grow a few more inches to my preferred length. 🙂

My hairstyle exactly right now. I wanted it all one length and the stylist has to cut it shorter than I usually like it to get there. But it’s easy to pull away from my face and have it stay and that is what I need for now.

I usually do long layers because my hair is thick. Its just a bit too short for that right now. Ive tested pulling half back and a whole pony tail. Half is decent but a whole pony doesn’t get as much of the front or the hair at my neck.

I think its also looking shorter because the weight of it is gone. I measured over 12” from one pony tail! So more than that was cut off. 😅

Yes, all done, pretty easy deal. Eye is itchy and a little uncomfortable but that’s about it.
How long did the surgery take from beginning to end?

We made yet another trip back to Home Depot today, i think this made 5 trips total so far. We worked on the backyard since the side of the house is done. It was a perfect day for working outdoors, i.e. 73 F and no humidity. I took a pic of my climbing rose on the lattice since it's just starting to get buds.

neely neely , Mia6 Mia6 , time from arrival at clinic to departure was about an hour and twenty minutes. The time in surgery was no more than five minutes. The anesthesia they gave was very very light so I was pretty much awake throughout but felt nothing more than pulling, tugging and bright lights for a couple minutes.

Still have blurry vision in that eye but hopefully at this morning eye appointment doc will say everything is fine.
