Season 2 of a Discovery of Witches. It is Watchathon week from Xfinity! Awesome! It is on AMC +. I will rewatch and record it when it is on regular AMC.

Love this book series. So glad it came to the screen. Season 2 pi’s so much better than Season 1. Take place in Elizabethan England.

We watched “My Octopus Teacher” on Netflix this evening. It was wonderful. Beautiful, tender, heartbreaking, joyful. It won both Academy and BAFTA awards for best documentary. A lovely film.

I watched that a about a month ago. It was really good. A documentary, but not.. I did learn a lot about 'life' and friendships... I guess patience and acceptance can conquer all....

I finally got to see my favorite movie again. "Cinema Paradiso". Oh, the kissing! It makes me cry still. 🌺 :silver: 🌻
OMG.. I have not seen that movie in many many years! I remember it being a beautiful film, and crying... It really opened my heart... I think I need to see it again, with older eyes....

Both of these films are worth of spending the time to watch.. They are both amazing..
I recommend both of them..

I just read Alison (Nellie Oleson) Arngrim's book. It was great. She's been through a lot and some of it was hard to read but her stories about the show and life on set were so good.
I would love to read that book. She was so good on the show. I understand she was abused as a child.

I met Michael Landon in person and got his autograph. He was so nice and so, so handsome. He was comming out of ABC News studio in DC across the street from where I used to work. I had heard on the news the night before that Little House had been canceled. I told him that I was sorry to hear about his show being canceled and he said "Oh, that's allright, we all have better things to do". He had class!

Yes. She was abused by her brother. Awful. She's a true survivor and a great storyteller. If you have a Kindle I can loan you my copy.

Lucky you! I am still a fan of his and yes, he was very handsome.
