We ordered MOD pizza.
Was it with butter garlic or Alfredo sauce? I know you don't like tomato sauce.

cereal is Whole Foods own brand which is called 365
Oh, the nearest Whole Foods is 3 hours away, in Syracuse I think.

Crisco is another good brand.
Crisco isn't vegetarian though is it? It didn't used to be. Thanks for the suggestions!

Lunch: Knorr pasta sides packet, and I put some spicy hot wing pretzel pieces on it, which tasted weird.

Dinner: I think I'll make another Knorr pasta sides packet, let it cool, then bake a casserole with it, with some cheese & the rest of the spicy hot wing pretzel pieces crushed up and mixed with melted butter on top.

I got the garlic rub! With dairy free cheese, spinach, artichoke, garlic and basil, plus Canadian bacon, sausage and the balsamic fig drizzle. I might have gone overboard, but I was excited. And ate the whole pizza (it was a very thin crust).

The same thing I have had every night since Monday morning's shopping trip...something scrumptious on the little slices of heaven that are the Good Seed version of Dave's Killer Bread. There is no way I can afford to use this bread exclusively...each loaf provides half as many sandwiches as my regular loaf, and at 5 times the price, so slice per slice, TEN times the price. THAT SAID, if I could afford it, that is all I would buy from now on!

You're thinking Crisco shortening.
Crisco shortening is vegan, going by ingredients. Some vegans do take issue with palm oil due to farming and harvesting techniques, and mono- and di-glycerides are often viewed with suspicion, as they could come from animal sources or vegetable sources. But there's no lard or anything in it anyway.

Bobby Parrish has a video on YouTube named Huge Costco Grocery Haul. Unfortunately DKB is no longer Bobby Approved because of the surgar. Again I don't know how to post the link.

Not sure who that is, but DKB is both dairy and soy free so it's Lari approved. My husband wants to make French toast for mother's day, and I'm tempted to splurge on the white DKB.

What is the best version? I was gonna get the 21 Grains & Seeds one with the green label, see pic below:

Crisco shortening is vegan
Didn't it used to have lard in it, or something like that?

Lunch: Made a quick salad with spinach, cucumbers, tomatoes, honey mustard dressing. Crushed some hard pretzels on top, which was okay. I think I will like my soft pretzels better.

Dinner: I think I will make a baked casserole with the rest of these hard pretzels crushed up and mixed with melted butter, instead of breadcrumbs.

I had that one and really enjoyed it!

M maggiedemi You know, EVOO was never meant to be used in a stir-fry; it's excellent for drizzling or salads and such, perfect with herbs added but that's it. It's not for sauteing or high heat. I usually stick with grapeseed oil because 1) You really don't taste it, and 2) It's very good for higher heat. Avocado oil will work on high heat, too. But never use EVOO when you're cooking with high heat; it will break it down and, also, it has a very low smoke point. I'm not trying to be a snot, honest.

Last night we did a frozen pizza. I'm thinking tonight will be some kind of canned soup and some crescent rolls with a bit of salad.

I don't think Crisco ever had lard. Some vegan and vegetarians won't use vegetable oils because they are highy processed. Avocado oil is good for frying but it is expensive. Can you stir fry with just plane olive oil? Walmart's brand of olive oil is rated good.

Tonight I had half of a swiss cheese sandwhich, vegan mayo and DKB bread and some cole slaw I brought at walmark. They had a pretty good selection for dinner, Mexican salad, mac & cheese, green beans black beans and a dinner roll but my IBS was acting up so I decided to stay ih my room. I'm having some cut up watermelon for desert.
