Lucky, my dental appointments never cancel - I have a big fear of going to the dentist. As soon as I hear the drill I want to get out of the chair and run. :running:I'm going through a dental implant now. Even though it's a long process, not to mention expensive, I know it will be worth it when it's over. If your teeth are molars or near the back of your mouth I understand you not wanting to go through the lengthy procedure for an implant but if its in the front like one of mine you may want to reconsider. Dentures have their own set of problems so when you reschedule your appointment ask your dentist about the downside of them. Good luck! :crossfingers:
I have one bridge and one implant. The implant was way more expensive and there were a couple of sore mouth days but after the first couple visits it is much easier. Once you get the tooth in the implant it feels just like any other tooth. For people who don’t know what a bridge is it’s where you have three teeth connected, regular teeth on both sides and the replacement tooth in the middle. Both of the outside teeth have to be capped to connect the fake tooth. The problem with them is that if you should have a cavity or anything go wrong with either real tooth, the whole bridge needs to be replaced, and that is expensive.

catnip, catnip & silverine mix
Even got some goodies for the caaaaats :happycat::catrub: have you tried the silverine before? Please share what your cats think! I've been debating on trying sometime.

sambal oelek sauce
What's that??

Had a grocery order today, too. Restocked on oreos, fudge pops, and some soda. I also ordered some more salad kits and stocked up on croutons. Reordered the brand I bought last time, which was texas toast croutons. So yummy and just the right crunch!

No, this is my first time trying it. It's supposed to be for cats that don't really like catnip, like Maggie. She loved it! Demi loved it too.

It's a thick hot sauce for cooking, almost like a paste.

What is in the salad kits? I love croutons, but I have to use up some of my chips & crackers first.

My positive is I went to the P.O. to mail a package and decided to get a book of stamps. They were out of the ❤ shaped ones I like. But the postal clerk showed me some different ones and they had espresso drinks, (caffe latte, mocha, cappuccino and espresso). I was so excited that I said, I'll take 2 books." :cheerleader:

That's so cool! I don't use stamps much anymore, but maybe I can find a coffee calendar, that would be fun. ☕

if you kick your legs in water, it splashes? J discovered this at bath time tonight
That's about the sweetest thing I ever did read. ❤

Right now we're having a frost!
May 1st and it's snowing! 😭 We already had 6 months of winter here in NY. I want my 6 months of summer!!!!!

My positive is we got our Aldi order last night. I got-- Chex Mix traditional, white cheddar cheese curds, spicy scorpion gouda cheese, vanilla almondmilk, general tso sauce, tofu, flame grilled protein veggie burgers, cheese calzone, instant dark roast coffee, and tons of wonderful fresh fruits & veggies, also some canned and frozen.

I only liked the rye chips in the Chex Mix, the rest was nasty, so I picked them out. The cheese curds were fabulous! Even better than the cajun flavored ones, so if you try cheese curds, I recommend the plain white ones! I had the cheese calzone before, it's delicious, but I didn't realize there was no sauce in it, so this time will heat some sauce up to go with it!

Aw, how adorable and fun!

I miss having fresh fruits and veggies. Our Walmart curbside pickups were always hit or miss what they picked for us. My mom bought in for a farm share just for vegetables, which starts in a couple weeks. So looking forward to fresh produce! Plus, I have some things growing, too. I miss fruit though. My mom does not eat as much fruit as I do and it was pretty pricy, so she passed on getting a fruit share. However, she wonders if they will have some for sale when she goes to pick up the share. We'll see!

Finished the album for my game this morning! I have two accounts, one on an old phone and one on my new phone, so we'll see if I can finish the second one! Going to try. And having a lot of fun with this game.

I got brave today and went down and cleaned out the “the pit” which is an big ten foot wide, four feet deep, four feet down egress opening. All summer and then fall leaves and things blow in there and eventually need to be cleaned out. I should do it more often but once a year is all I can handle. Climbing in is sort of scary but getting back out is the challenge. The step stool is too short so you just have to hoist yourself the rest of the way out. Not funny how that gets harder every year. Anyway went this morning , raked the leaves, picked up the garbage and sprayed weed killer.

Yeah, my family is like that too. We'll get the produce from a grocery order pickup and they will be like "This looks terrible!" But it looks fine to me, I can't tell the difference.

My positive is- Tomorrow is a new week, and May is a new month, so I'm feeling a bit more hopeful! I'll try to think positively and we'll see what happens, maybe some good things.🙌

I start my final class for my master's degree on Thursday and I got my final grade for the class I just finished and I'm still maintaining a 4.0 GPA! I'm very happy about that. I was admitted into grad school conditionally because my undergrad GPA was lower than what was accepted (I just checked and the requirement was a 2.75 GPA and I honestly don't know what my undergrad GPA was), so I needed to get at least a B for the first 3 classes to no longer be a conditional acceptance.

My neighbor brought over homemade sushi for us this afternoon. DS has taken a real liking to her and she will show him her garden and chat with him outside. She's a sweet person. He told her his birthday is coming up so she wanted to give him a present. She doesn't drive because she hasn't gotten a liscence yet; so sushi is what she came up with. :hearthrob:

My degree will be in data intelligence and geoanalytics, which is a just a fancy way of saying GIS. I take a lot of classes in data analysis, geography, and programming.
How neat! GIS is a hot field nowadays. I really wanted to take a full GIS class in college, but the class was full and only happening every two years where I was only there my last two years. Coming in as a transfer I had last pick of my classes my first semester and was when the GIS class was. But at least I was able to take all the other classes I was really interested in!

Received a free sample box even though I didn't sign up for it, haha. Unless this one automatically sends you ones without signing up, but I received an e-mail a sample box was shipping and was surprised. Two samples of sugary cereal and a tuna snack kit, yum! Another warm day, and maybe rain expected for later. If it rains, interested in sitting on the deck and hearing the beautiful nature noises as it can be really calming for me to be outside while it is raining.

A couple of weeks ago, I submitted some of my art to a gallery that lets artists use the space for shows. I got an email today saying that they have accepted my work and would like me to come up with 15 to 20 paintings to display! The first opening is in December, but I took a much later date of next June. It is so far away, but it will give me time to get 15-20 paintings either matted or framed. (I like most of my paintings without mats or frames, but the gallery requires one or the other.) I have shown at bookstores and coffee shops, but never at an actual gallery! They do not just accept anyone, so it feels more exciting and scary than the bookstores and shops.

I want to go wake my husband up to tell him! I shan't because his alarm goes off at 2, but I really, really want to!
