Oh, here is a photo of one of my cute mugs.

Love the mug! And since it appears you're a reader, I must spam about our TCS book club, in case you might be interested in reading along with us one month.

Here's the thread for the April book, which of course we're already read: April 2021 book of the month club
And the thread for May's book, which we'll start reading soon. May 2021 book of the month club
Everyone is welcome to join our book club, btw. And you don't have to read every book, just any that interest you.

And to get back on topic, I'm about to place an order with Amazon, and am trying to decide whether to order more Suisse Mocha or not. Leaning towards "YES".

Thank you for the information!
The book club is something I would be interested in once I get settled into our new house. I will have more time then. DH is working away now and I am solo with packing / getting things in order before the move. It’s been a rush!:runaround: Ah well, it’s just life at the moment but I will be thrilled once it’s all over.
😅

I finally finished my medium roast coffee today and my liquid coffee creamers.

Going back to dark roast tomorrow & my cappuccinos. I got some goat milk to try with my cappuccinos. So curious about it. :cheerleader:

rubysmama rubysmama You would definitely love my cappuccino mixes. They have almost no coffee in them. I can prove it, because I got so sick this morning from caffeine withdrawal. I thought I had Corona, but then I opened up my new dark roast and within the hour, I was perfectly fine. I will have to mix a little instant coffee with the cappuccino to keep away the withdrawal! 😲

I don't know how they can market them as coffee with that little coffee in them. It's like the last ingredient.

Congrats on the new house, and good luck with the move. Once you're settled, hope you'll join us in our monthly book club thread.

So funny you posted that, as here's what I was typing as your message popped up.

Just the usual mix of my Suisse Mocha and Lemon Green Tea. Though yesterday I switched the order up, and instead of my Suisse Mocha in the afternoon, I had it in the morning. I had a bit of a headache, and caffeine (or chocolate) usually helps, so I made myself a cup, and sure enough not long after the headache was gone.

Yes! I think they market these mixes to people who like the flavor more than the coffee part. Coffee is like the very last ingredient, or near the end. I thought I was dying there for a minute, but it was just caffeine withdrawal.

I love my new dark roast that I opened up. It's Nescafe dark roast instant coffee from Aldi. Just drank it black, 2Tsp in hot water.

I know that feeling so well. :agree: Not only do I get caffeine withdrawal but my body knows what time of day I have my dark roast coffee. I can't leave the house without a cup first thing in the morning and in the afternoon. It's like a dark cloud hanging over my head if I don't have my coffee which I know probably isn't good but I rationalize it's my guilty pleasure. 😉

Checked my Suisse Mocha label, and coffee is the 4th ingredient, followed by cocoa. So one of the two, or a combination, got rid of my headache yesterday.

Will be having today's cup in a little bit. :yummy:

Conversation this morning.

Me: I kind of want to get Starbucks when I do grocery pickup later, but my dairy free group on facebook says they're terrible with cross contamination and putting in the wrong milk, so I probably shouldn't.

Husband: you could order a black coffee and put in the stuff you have at home.

Me: why would I do that when I could just make myself black coffee here and put my own stuff in it?

Husband: shrugs

...This is why I'm not a fancy coffee connoisseur.

I don't think I've had a problem with cross contamination from Starbucks but it wouldn't surprise me and could happen anywhere. However, if I get a latte or flat white I ask for it to be made with almond milk. I do know they don't use the best quality and it has to be shaken up so I always specifically ask for them to shake it first.

Husband: you could order a black coffee and put in the stuff you have at home.
Your husband is a smart guy!

The claim is they use the same machines and stirrers with both the dairy and non dairy milks without cleaning them. I'm not sure, but I guess I shouldn't risk it. :dunno:

I would ask them if they do, then you would know for sure and wouldn't have to wonder. Wondering sucks!

I ordered some Hemp Milk from Target for my cappuccinos! Can't wait to try it. I wonder what it will taste like. I like to do half water, half fancy milk in my cappuccinos.
