My mom says she has a waterless one
Does she have a diffuser? I’ve seen people talk about those having blends that are good for breathing/congestion issues. They make me nervous with cats so I didn’t give it much attention.

DH’s allergist recommended a neti pot twice a day. He uses distilled water and nasal salts. I’ve been tempted to try it.

What's your zip code and I'll see what I can find for you. If you don't want to say here you can PM it, but thousands of people have the same zip code so that shouldn't narrow things down too much.
I PMd you because it seems some areas of my zip are getting mail and other areas aren't. So I needed to at least mention the street name. Thank you.

Have you tried a sinus rinse? I was against it for years, and then my PCP insisted I try one. It works great.

I got the NellMed rinse kit. There is a video on YouTube on how to use it. I use the packs of saline mix; added to cooled boiled tap water.

It works so good that I keep a new set up on hand.

I have been using NeilMed sinus rinse since 2006. My sinus doctor gave it to me when I had sinus surgery. It works great. My brother swears by it. He gets it for me at Costco. It comes in a box with 250 premixed packets, 2 squeeze bottles and a can of NasaMist saline spray. I use bottled distilled water. It cost around $12.00 which is a good price.

I see Vicks makes a waterless one. My concern would be if what it emits is safe for cats to breathe. Isnt menthol bad for them?
My worry with a conventional vaporizer is that the cats might knock it down, you know?
We were told to use a cool mist humidifier when our kids were little because of burn risks. They are decent sized and hold a gallon of water; so I don’t think the cats would have tipped it. I have a teardrop shaped one and we had another but it leaked. I kept it on a wood step stool in DD’s room at night when she would get colds. (When she was still in a crib.) I also ran it on the counter in the kitchen. When its full of water that adds weight too.

This is the current version of what I have:Crane Drop Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001ADL1SG/?tag=thecatsite

I guess just research if the waterless ones are ok for cats. But it does sound like a neti pot could be a good answer too. DH has tried several I can link to if you are interested. All from Amazon.

I hear a lot of people talking about it. Would like to check it out but my sister canceled the Netflix... *sigh*

Oh yes. Quite explicit at points but great watching, and I generally don’t like period dramas.
What kind of things do I have to look forward to...?? It's been fairly mild so far, but only on episode 5. Guess we'll see what it is like as it continues. It depends on the period drama for me. The sexism makes me angry at times and I want to toss my monitor across the room, haha. That's the one thing I wish I could change with shows like these.

Reminds me of my hermit crabs. They often bury under when they first come home, esp. because petstores do not provide proper housing for them to molt as they need substrate to bury under that is deep enough. When I came back from school, I was worried only 1 was left, but after a month another finally emerged! It must have been under molting. Sometimes they are underground for weeks or months during the process. Depends on size and "style."

Bummer :( I've never had a subscription, but my last two boyfriends gave me access to theirs, and a friend put me on her account this past year without me asking and sent me her login details. Later on if I ever have an account, I want to keep that in mind and add friends, if possible. It's so nice when you can get free access.

I love historical fiction and period dramas...but that’s not one for me. I’m not surprised since it’s based on a romance novel. Kinda disappointing because some historical dramas are over-starched. That one needs some holy water from what I heard. 😝
haha, definitely romance based! That might be why I like this one more. I've been in the mood lately for romance. I'm so interested in what the show will be like as it continues! Only on episode 5 and not too bad... guess I'll have to update my reaction once I think I know what you all are talking about!

My friend stopped off at the house to get her card for emergency vet care (we're making an exchange of my Wyze cams and old echo show for vet) and she said that Tourmaline seems a little better. We still don't know what happened. Ugh I'm scared she may not want to come back to me. I really need someone to comfort me right now. And I'm not getting that. :(

Oh no. Such a sad and tragic weekend. Not only did Treasure steal some of my blueberry muffin, but they also got a hold of some sardines that was still heavily packed in water and salt. I don't deserve these cats, because I keep doing stupid stuff :(

This is also another reason why the tragedy with USPS needs to be resolved. I need those documents to sign. First check would be for me to get a thorough checkup with a doctor and a vet for these cats. Now I have to wait 6 months or longer thanks to USPS for refusal to deliver. Oh and btw, truck cam, pulled in front of my car (I have a cam in the car) sat there for 20 minutes, he gets out, walks across the street, marks something on the package and comes back without delivering. And the people were home. So whoever they have hired they need to fire.
