I’ve always wanted to know how to describe Noosh’s (short for Charnushka!) coloring! the best I’ve guessed is a dilute calico tabby? her eyes are unreal too! I’ve never seen another like her and her vet is very smitten :) her coat is also very thick and she always has little tufts of fur between her toes! my little dumpling

She's a dilute torbie with white. . .enough white that some people might call her torbico/caliby.

Oh wait, she has blue eyes! I think she must have a pointed pattern too. Was she lighter colored when she was younger?

I'm not sure your other girl is dilute, although she doesn't look quite as dark as other calicos either. Maybe smoke? Very cool!

This is great! we didn’t get her until she was four so we don’t know much about her younger years unfortunately! dilute torbie makes sense — she’s just got a whole lot of white! her whole belly is :)

I’ve always wondered if she had distinct pointed coloring at some time — her ears and tail have some, but not her legs/feet really. she’s a beautiful alien! those eyes th are so killer. helps her get her way for sure!

her vets have always called Paprika a dilute calico but reading about it perhaps there is smoke... it’s definitely not black at least. any tips on making a more definitive call? ty again!!

How would you describe her eye color? Bluish or greenish?

If bluish, the question may arise if we shallnt throw in point into the fry... Being a point may be difficult to see if they carry much white, covering ears and such...

OK
oh sorry! Noosh has blue, Paprika has green
OK, so the diagnose clears up.

Paprika, is a tortie and white / calico. These have often green eyes - why, I dont know, its not theoretically necessary, but its more common than pure coincidence.

Noosh is a point too in the fry ("siamese-mix") ... So she is tortie, tabby, diluted, point AND white... How to try to summarize it?
Perhaps domestic shorthair, diluted torbie and white point. Or domestic shorthair; diluted lynx tortie and white point.

Her being a point isnt very apparent at first glance, because being also very much tabby and having much white, it covers up the usually masque and the usually darker pointed places... Its the blue eyes which is the telltale.
Its possible for non points to have blue eyes, but its not that common...
But looking on her in total, with open eyes once I realized she may be a point, ; I will bet heavily on her being a point too. :)
