Alianna is now about 14lbs. She's still in the 1st percentile for weight, but the pediatrician isn't concerned, anymore. She's perfect, hitting all her milestones early, so the doctor is finally accepting what I've been saying all along - she's just little. About time.
Wow, that is little! What's her length percentile? Is she also pretty short?

My Mom was almost that weight when she was born. Grandma thought for sure she would have another boy but turned out to be a girl. My Mom was the only girl out of 11 children although one of children died of Scarlett Fever in 1916 at 6 months old.

I suppose someone has to be in the 1st percentile. Our pediatrician said they only get concerned when a kid falls off their own growth curve. They just don't have that to look at yet with the babies.
I was able to drop some future classes. My sanity demanded it.
Good for you. I hope it lets you catch your breath and do your best on the rest! That's important too.

I think I just broke my toe. I walked into a bag of cement outside and it’s very swollen. There goes m plans for doing anything by active today! :frown:

Ouchie! I'm so sorry :( Right before my freshman year in high school, I stubbed my toe really bad and my big toe swelled 2-3x the size. It was not a fun experience. Sending you comforting and soothing vibes! :heartshape:

Alicia88 Alicia88 , you are evil, evil, evil, and SO RIGHT!

Boy...remembering when my kids were born...Drew (Spawn 1) outdid himself. He was 8 pounds, 14 ounces, and TWENTY-SEVEN INCHES LONG! It was like giving birth to a boa constrictor! Long and lean. It was a sign of Things to Come, as he is now 6'10", and weighs in at about 240, which isn't that heavy for his height. Zac (Spawn 2), is a measly 6'2". Poor, wee thing! LOL, I have to tell you, having a 16-year-old boy who is 6'6" is a challenge to your parenting skills, especially as a newly-single mother. You can't let them get away with a thing, or they run rough-shod over you. Kept me on my toes.

How did you handle pregnancy?! J was 20.5 and her bottom was always uncomfortably up in my rib near the end. I can't imagine how 27 inches would even fit in there!
