@Moochnoodles, growing up my son was terrified that he would be short like me, and described my height as “ somewhere between a midget and a normal person”. On his 13th birthday in September he was 5’3. By the end of that school year he was 5’11. He grew so fast it was literally painful. And the voice change seemingly happened overnight as well. It was pretty amazing. After that year is growth slowed down and he ended up 6’2. I have heard they reach puberty about the same age their dad did?

I’m sure keeping him in pants that year was painful for you too! I was scared I’d stop growing early because my dad did. He was 6’ at 12 and only grew an inch after that. I asked the pediatrician last year about hitting puberty but she said it can vary a lot. I was always told it’s similar to when your parents did. My DH claims not to remember. He better start remembering because I’m not handling all the talks around here!

My dad and I both had a lot of growing pains. As tall as DD is; she hasn’t had that. Shes had growth spurts but mostly it seems steady. I have noticed more changes in some of DDs friends than I see in her. She can take her time growing up.

She does "talk" a lot, but I have no idea what she's saying!
Aw! So sweet!

Hobbit Baby says Momma, hi, and yes. I am trying to get him to say Mina. He makes a "th" sound when we hand him things, so I take it as him saying thank you. He absolutely understands, "No," "Do you want some more," "I'm going to give it to the cats," "Are you allowed out there," "May I have a kiss," and "Be nice." (He had a few incidents of pulling the cats' fur. "Be nice" reminds him to pet, not pull.) He also knows when I am scrolling to find his favorite movie, "Onward." He gets really excited and starts dancing before laying down on his giant sloth and propping his feet up.

He is in size 24-month clothes.

My other positive is that I finally found a duvet cover that both my husband and I like! I had to design the fabric, but I love it! I have designed other fabric and sold it on Spoonflower, so I have "Spoondollars" to cover most of the cost. Sorry the picture is a bit fuzzy. I had to take a picture of the website because it would not let me just save the image.

Sooo cute! I need stuff for J's Easter basket, so maybe that book will make its way in.

Love the duvet! And I can't believe Hobbit is getting so big and talking! It feels like yesterday your daughter was trying to keep him in just a little longer.
