Lari Lari It is good news.
N NY cat man I would wish for some help too!
tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 The situation these days is often less than satisfactory.
There is more to the story. Maybe I will get the refund because of going back while I was quite obviously affected. I probably looked pretty bad. They do know that I contacted all parties involved. If I am treated fairly, I couldn’t ask for more.
As for getting rid of the tile, I found that it is often used to line the hazardous material dump sites. It won’t let the material leach out. I may have to pay to get it gone though. It costs by the pound! I won’t know the whole deal until I go back to the store. I will post the final results when I know them.
M maggiedemi Thank you. I hope things roll my way too! I just want things to be made right.
BJ is a spicy kitty. Lol “All the world loves a lover! “ He lives by that quote. ;) Cats learn and teach.

BellaGooch BellaGooch I adore that little Thrasher face too! The shelter felt she would fall behind being adopted to other “more attractive” cats! I was blown away because I have always been drawn to her. I love her and someone, somewhere missed out. All the more adorableness for me!

GREAT news about the full refund! Took a worry off of my mind.

OH! I'm getting my first vaccination on Friday, and the second on March 27. I was almost hoping for the J&J. It only prevents COVID in 85% of test subjects, but of the 15% who contracted the disease, there were NO deaths or hospitalizations. And just one shot. But...I'll take whatever they give me!

Possibly. I'm a very quiet, timid person by nature, but since being dumped by the ex, I've learned to speak up and state my case and stand by it. It has gotten me quite a lot that I feel I am entitled (not in the bad way) to, too. As my dad used to say, "The squeaky wheel gets the grease!" and especially for us women, so many times businesses think they can intimidate us and we'll just quake in the corner. No more. Not when my loved ones and I depend on me for our survival! I once pushed through a dateless coupon on my contractors. It was sizeable. They didn't want to give the discount but they're honest people (that's why I rehire them) and the son did not date the coupon. I expect he got quite a thrashing when they got home. But fair is fair. They accused me of being a hard bargainer. I was.:insertevillaugh:

Mamanyt1953 Mamanyt1953 Do keep us posted about you and the vaccine! If it is the Moderna, I am being told by family and friends who had that one to expect to be tired on the first one and feeling a bit buggy on the second one. I hear the Pfizer one makes you really tired with both but not so buggy feeling. I suppose it might be similar to a flu shot?

tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 I tend to be more reserved too but when it is seeking justice or defending another, I am like a stone wall. Lol This situation is not just defending myself or loved ones though. There is a larger picture here. More later. Hopefully, all good.

I wish I could share the scent! It’s as beautiful as the little flowers.
A little more Spring for you. The Azaleas are starting and the teal olive has the whole yard aromatic.
Lovely and I can smell them!

They are going to refund without me having to haul all that tile back to them!
Great news! :clapcat:

I heard from the seller of the tile. They are going to refund without me having to haul all that tile back to them! That’s a load that I won’t have to transport again. The manufacturers is going to credit the seller from what I am told. I’ll be looking for a replacement when I go back. Not sure what yet but I hope to find something! Lol
I guess it's great that they're going to refund you, without you having to drag it all back, but still, as you mentioned in another post, if you have to pay to dispose of it, that's not fair. What a nightmare!

tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 I’m sorry the white azalea didn’t make it there. Perhaps it was the soil more than the climate?
Thank you about the Iris. Sarah would have loved them. She favored sweetly scented flowers above all. Unless it had a strawberry attached. Lol
Yeah, I wondered about the soil issue but I don't think so. The reason I wanted it was that my neighbors next door, now my roomies, had one. It was beautiful and did really well. It was lost, too, though, several years later in some of the killer heat we've had.

Did you check out the free legal advice? Ask them about getting the tile removed from your property with out you doing it definitely mention breathing the stuff while removing the tiles will adversely affect your health. Also see if the company has any BBB complaints. There may be advice from others about how to deal with them.

Now I'm craving strawberries.

And strawberries
And again with the strawberries. Now I must get some for my granola. They will be mine. 🍓

I would wish for some help too!
What a coincidence. Someone might have been sending up some of her dramatic prayers for you this very afternoon. 🙏

The situation these days is often less than satisfactory.
Man, can I relate to that. 🤝

“All the world loves a lover! “ He lives by that quote.
I kinda like that saying. I might borrow it, if BJ doesn't mind.👍

rubysmama rubysmama and dustydiamond1 dustydiamond1 The whole flooring situation is exhausting and frustrating. I think we really need an “Products for the home that are or are not Cat Safe!” I am finding so much information about this that it has me :frustrated:

Least toxic might be a better title.

I’d like to promote safe products! Anyone know of safe flooring options?

tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 I know some azalea varieties do well in your area. They have shallow roots and like acidic soil. Planting with peat moss could really help but add some mulch to the soil to provide air to the roots. They don’t like compacted soil or manure. Mulching over the roots can provide root shade and as water filters down, acidic mulch provides what the plants like. Over watering can kill too but humidity is important too. Watering just the leaves if the peat moss is still damp would be something the plant would love in the mornings. Maybe a deciduous variety would do better? Of course you could always try a small one in a pot. It’s frustrating to lose plants.

M maggiedemi Well, I just planted two strawberry plants! Lol I only planted them to replace some “aged out” plants. I love having them in the garden because, like you, Sarah loved strawberries.
Dramatic prayers sound wonderful. We can use them so I am thankful.
BJ says you should use that quote! He can’t take credit for it, he borrowed it too. ;)

Please send good vibes and prayers for Tom. Todd had met a couple that knew a little about him. They said he was between 5-6 years old. He was an inside cat for the first 6 months of his life until his owner moved out of the apartments and decided just put him out on the street...
