Jcatbird Jcatbird PawPurr is adorable! Who could PAWSibly resist? :hearthrob: :redcat::hearthrob::heartshape:
dustydiamond1 dustydiamond1 and N NY cat man We love our murders around here!:yess:I lovewhen they visit. Crows are very intelligent and yes, they are known to be appreciative of kind humans. There were ravens in the Mojave and I loved to see them. Here, there are crows -- no ravens -- and they are often being chased midair by other birds, mockers and jays.
That is a great toy! We have some small "cat jacks" that came in a multipak of 5 or 6 -- only the pink one and the green one are left.

Wisdom is not wasted. You use it in everyday life. It helps you move forward, strut, survive and to stay safe and secure in the world.
So go ahead and use the wisdom early, along the way? Gotcha. I'll try. ;)

wondered if the blue creature was being eradicated too
Eradicated? I like that word for some reason. Could be useful....

Knock, knock!
Awww. You always tell us about Pawpurr waiting for you at the door, but it's nice to finally see the visual! 😻

Just so everyone knows, a flock of crows is called a murder of crows. ;) No creatures are hurt there.
Thanks for clarifying, cause I was scared to watch the "murder" video.

not as many coyote hunters as there use to be
They stopped culling the coyotes & coydogs here too, and I spotted one in the backyard for the first time ever. 😲

My dad claims that Blue Jays are the meanest bird. But I think they are the prettiest! 🐦

There is a family of blue jays who have been here since before we moved here. They are very friendly and come quite close. If you search "BLUE JAYS" you'll see stories of people who have made friends with jays.
I didn't used to like them, because they cussed out cats and dive-bombed them. But since people here have pretty much gotten educated and care enough to keep their cats indoors, this isn't happening; and of course my cats never go out.

Dad doesn't like them because he says they are mean to other birds. I never really saw that, but I don't really sit there and study them like he does. I just look at their beautiful colors, then go about my day.

tabbytom tabbytom It was very Crow ded!
Birds of a feather did flock together!

dustydiamond1 dustydiamond1 Pawpurr is growing up. She’s getting bigger and much more settled in these days.
Coyotes seem to be so many places now. I hope they stay away from the park. I can’t help but think how humans have affected all wildlife. The thing about nature is that she does find a balance when things become overpopulated by something.
Thanks for the info on the blue toy! I see it’s called a jack. Shaped like the old children’s jacks toys. Since that one bounces it must be “Jumping Jack!” The kitties love Jack!

@Crows can be deafening! Mass murder!:flail:Good one!

Mamanyt1953 Mamanyt1953 Only two crows..... Attempted murder!:flail:

tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 Pawpurr did make me laugh. I love her expressions.
You had several smaller jacks but only two remain? Baby jumping jacks? I guess the others hopped away! Lol

Whenallhellbreakslose Whenallhellbreakslose Another good one! :flail: Probable caws!
I’ll keep the posts coming as long as the kitties help me. You guys give me caws to return. So, we have paws and caws!

M maggiedemi I’m glad I posted the name of a flock of crows so you watched the video. Seeing that many at once is not something we see every day.
Pawpurr is so cute.A very wise girl, she knows to look outside before opening the door to anyone.
I agree that Bluejays are one of the prettiest! They are not mean. As @tarasgrl106 explained, they are friendly and when humans keep their cats in, they don’t dive at them to defend their territory. They are just acting out of survival instincts when they react. I have always loved them and they always alert me to any danger here. They fly to defend others and make quite a fuss to warn any creature they feel is good to have around. They may do things humans think is mean but , as said, it is survival instinct and not being mean.

BellaGooch BellaGooch Kitties do make the best cuddles! I kind of got the flip side to that story for Kodiak. Kitties are the funniest too!

tabbytom tabbytom I wish I could share the scent! It’s as beautiful as the little flowers.
A little more Spring for you. The Azaleas are starting and the teal olive has the whole yard aromatic.

Those almost look like mock oranges in the second pic. I love azaleas -- I had my gardener plant a white one for me, but unfortunately it did not survive this pestilential climate.
I forgot to compliment your gorgeous little irises -- such intense colors! Really beautiful. I hope they will thrive in Sarah's Garden! and I think she would have really love them. Am I right there?

I heard from the seller of the tile. They are going to refund without me having to haul all that tile back to them! That’s a load that I won’t have to transport again. The manufacturers is going to credit the seller from what I am told. I’ll be looking for a replacement when I go back. Not sure what yet but I hope to find something! Lol

Last night I posted big BJ trying to use little Kodiak as a pillow. The other side of that story took place.;)

Kodiak has found a great pillow!

If that ain't a pile of stripes, I don't know what is!!! :dizzycat::climbcat::runningcat:All so adorable! Elvis is technically a blue/cream tabby, but I miss the brown, grey, and black tabbies who have graced my life in the past (and not forgetting the red and buff ones!).
I agree about the tile, but realistically, with things as they are these days, I think you're lucky to get that. A lot of businesses just say, "Tough!" and if you want to bring action against them, which most people don't have the time or money to do, then they'll respond. They know most people will just suck it up.
I've been surprised several times about charges and/or products that were unfair and/or substandard, when I've been contacted out of the blue and told I'm a party in a class-action lawsuit against the offending company. Sometimes the payout is fairly nice. Not something you can buy a car with, but a nice addition to the everyday budget. If enough people have similar experiences to yours, you may find this happening down the road, too. Just hope and pray you can find some kind of floor covering that is safe! It's getting so hard to know these days, what's good and what's not. I would trust IKEA, but you don't have one near you. The other bad thing is that now you're stuck with all this toxic tile to get rid of. It's not like it can be utilized, is it? In my city, they won't take stuff like that. You have to drive it to hazardous waste intake. And then it has to be approved. When my roomies were going to join me, we took a lot of stuff and they wouldn't accept it without US paying THEM to take it.
