We took a walk!
So jealous! Please give me all the wonderful details so I can live vicariously through you! :heartshape: Think Isabelle and I may start sitting out on the deck again. Not warm enough the kittens will stay out for extended periods, but Isabelle will be content.

55 here! I’m literally hot!
Wowza! That is a heat wave! :flail:

Totally loving waking up at my 7 am and the sun coming through the windows. So refreshing. It leaves me feeling energized and ready for the day, which has been so long since feeling that. I've also been getting the itch to get outside and will be enjoying the fresh air on the deck sometime soon. <3

Well, we bundled up J, figured out the stroller and went around the block for ten-ish minutes. The weather felt mild to me, but since she's so little and can't regulate her temperature well yet, I didn't want to stay out too long. A lot of our neighbors had cleared their sidewalks, but some were still icy, and there were puddles so I ended up with wet feet. But the sun and fresh air was nice!

I'm thinking I'll try again over the weekend, even though the temps are good today (high of 45!), just to give the sidewalks more time to clear/puddles to evaporate a bit more. I'd walk the streets if I were on my own, but don't want to have the baby on them.

My positive today is that I successfully got rid of two pieces of small furniture from my home! I've been on this journey of gradually decluttering my home. I find that the less clutter there is, the less cleaning I have to do, the more space I have, and the happier I am. But I also don't like to throw perfectly fine stuff out; I'd rather see them continue to be used in homes that need them. I always feel so happy and accomplished when a happy buyer picks up the item!

My positive is we took Carleton to the vet for his first Senior Physical today and although we don't have the results of the bloodwork yet everything else looked normal. Fingers and paws crossed for good test results. :crossfingers: 🐾

DS stepped outside and said “Feels like summer!” :flail: Today is supposed to be even warmer!:banana1:
That was my same thought. So nice out!

Thank you. That sounds absolutely wonderful, if even for just a short time. <3

My positive is that we have had two days of snow melt with warm days and below freezing nights. Usually for me this means treacherous patches of ice forming on my sidewalk and garage walkway by morning. But thanks to my heated walkway mats, not a single bit of ice has formed.
What is a heated walkway mat???

I
W WillowMarie , I bought two mats this fall from a company called Heat Trak. Together they are about seven feet long and plug into an outdoor outlet and have enough heat running through them to keep snow and ice melting. Really work great.
looked at their site. Must be good because a lot of them are sodl out. seems all the reviews give them 5*****
