Cuddle sessions are the best! I love how he nuzzles his head into you. :zzzcat:
Yes, he's sweet when he's cuddly.
.....or wants chicken. Lol! Made the mistake of treating them to some left over rotisserie chicken. ( When it was about done, so I cleaned it off & filled a baggie full for them. Unseasoned only). It turned him into a "chicken monster!". I don't think I'll be able to do that again, because then it's all he wants!
I'm so glad they're here.
Hard to believe that tomorrow the 5th will be 5 years since I lost Angel!! I actually woke up crying this morning from a bad dream about it.
I didn't expect that... But was fine the rest of today. Actually had a good day. Took my car in. Thought I needed new brakes, because they had been feeling low when pressed, so my mom picked me up from the shop, so I wouldn't have to sit there. We ran some errands & went to Home Goods. ( Love that store). I got a new rug set for my bathroom, a new water dish for Panther. ( Have plenty, but was to cute to pass up for 2.99,) & a cute wooden bunny for Easter. Only 7.99.
Then great news, my breaks still have a good 1/2 a life left, they said, & only needed aligning. They feel much better, & only cost a third of what I thought I'd have to spend!

I know the feeling and you have my sincere and heartfelt sympathies. :hugs: Anniversaries are especially difficult, aren't they?
Glad the rest of your day went well and, best of all, you didn't need new brakes for your car. πŸ‘

Yes, definitely. It can hit you at any random time. I still have all the daily logs from Angel. I was cleaning up my phone one day & couldn't bring myself to delete them. Ended up reading through some of them & tears just running down my face. Then I was like, WHY, did I do that to myself?!
Yes, I'm glad the day was good & I didn't need brakes too!

Oh yeah, the upstairs neighbors across the hall Finally moved out. My downstairs neighbor & I were outside talking yesterday, & found a bunch of sidewalk chalk out there, so I decided to draw on the fence! The chalk was wet, so crumbled away pretty quick, but I managed to get a few flowers out of it! 😁 So far it hasn't rained hard enough today to wash it off. I'm definitely going to get some when it warms up, & do it again. I think it'll be fun. 😁 Liven up our little tucked away corner back here!

Panther just came a little before 4:00. Ate some dinner, then we had some playtime with the balls & da bird. 😊 Still waiting on Honey to show up...if she does, since it's raining off & on.

Well, that beautiful little gray & black baby with the blue eyes showed up again. I occasionally see him, but not to often, & not for long, since I don't feed him. I just can't afford to feed another, & don't want conflict, as Honey ( Panther followed, which also makes me think she's his mom), has chased him away before.
Anyway, I was watching Panther to make sure baby was safe. Distracting Panther at first w/ some play in the doorway. I had also put the breakfast he didn't finish out there. He ate a few more bites, then was done. I didn't want to feed this kitty, but also didn't want the food to go to waste. Figured if he was getting " leftovers" vs/ me actually bringing him out food, wouldn't be as bad. 🀷🀷. Surprisingly, Panther stayed laying up on the hill. Not going after the kitty. I just kept telling him from the door, what a good boy he was, & that mommy was SO proud of him. πŸ’™. Then, he was actually grooming at one point, even w/ bk turned some, not paying any attention to the kitty. So proud!!
So I let the kitty eat.
He looks to me like he's maybe 7-8 months old? What do you guys think?
My neighbor calls him Thumper, because of his coloring, fluffiness, & eyes. Looks like him. Lol. Because of those eyes, if I were to have & name him, it'd probably be something more like Skylar, Sky for short, because of those eyes! πŸ’™
Here's some pictures.....

I can't guess on his age either, but agree, he's gorgeous.

Do you know if he's a boy, for sure? Neutered? If not, or if you're not sure, can you reach out to the person who helped get Panther neutered and see if they can help. He's too gorgeous to remain a stray, and now that he's found a food source, he'll probably show up more regularly. :ohwell:

Yeah, I'm not sure, but seems to be a boy. Can't really see, but kinda get that energy from him. I've thought of that, but it'd be really hard to trap him. Especially with my two around. As far as that lady that helped Panther, last I spoke to her about it, she was already full & others not taking any either since full & because of covid. It's kind of all at a stand still.

Guess what guys?! Panther spent his first full night with me last night! 😁😸
There had been a couple of previous attempts. The first time, he cried to go out at 2:15. The second, he made it to 4:15.
So last night was his first full sleep over. 😊
He showed up around 7 last night to eat. Came in, I fixed his food, but he really wasn't interested. Maybe took a little nibble. Left it out, but he never went back to it. So, he must've eaten somewhere else, or had caught/ ate something earlier. I took it up before bed, because had been a few hrs & was drying out anyway.
He stayed in his bed all night. I was up a couple of times, & he was in his bed. He was a good boy. πŸ’™ Thought he'd come in the bedroom when he heard me up this morning, but he didn't. So I came out & laid on the floor by him, & gave some pets & snuggle time. I fixed & he ate breakfast. Most of it inside. Then was ready to go out, so put the rest of his food out, & he came back about 30 mins later, & finished it.
He's already came for dinner, & went. Had a little left, so put it out for when he comes back. It's been about 45 mins, so will bring it bk in for him. Don't want a opossum or raccoon getting it.

A couple of pictures from last night.πŸ’™

Thanks, but unfortunately, he went back out after ccoming back in to finish a little dinner he had left. He only stayed in for about 30 mins. A while later, I peeked in their house w/ the flashlight, & they were both in there. He was curled up sleeping. It's just about 11:00 pm, so time for bed. Guess he's sleeping in their house tonight. I do feel bad when Honey's out there by herself, but she's still not getting close. So glad they're together tonight. I guess he's gotta take turns with his mommies. πŸ˜„

Awww... that's so lovely that Panther had an all-night sleepover. :petcat: Maybe he didn't come in last night, so he could spend time with Honey, and tell her all about his amazingly restful night, where he could sleep without a care in the world. :catlove:
