Gaaaahhhhhh I looked up a picture of it. I couldn't eat it after all.
Gah is right. Yucky icky poo. 🤢

I saw a picture where they had it in a new litter box and they used a new litter scoop to lift it out!
Oh now that is going too far. 😲

I would love to serve one to a few people.:running::insertevillaugh: Hmmmm. Maybe I have been influenced by a certain cat with a sense of humor.
Hmmm. I've never heard you talk like that before. Did Banjo write that post? :bicolorcat:

The marmalade is a little sweet and a little tangy. It contrasts nicely with a dash of salt and a sprinkling of black pepper. I like it on rice.
Well now...that does sound nice. 🍊🍚

I would help at your house if you guys will all come and help at mine
We can't do projects at our house because of my mother. 🙁

I really think I hear a couple of kitty burps!
Ewww! Well at least it's not coming out the other end.

It has absolutely nothing to do with paw prints.:bluepaw: Uhhh, By the way, does concrete come off of you lick it?
Awww, sweet little bear cub trying to help. 🐻

pearl99 pearl99 It’s going to be work but the floor hasn’t been re done in many years. Way too long. Hopefully, we’ll get it done.

BellaGooch BellaGooch It is a chore. A bit ambitious at my age maybe but I hope it will never need to be done again by me! Lol It will be so much easier to clean too!

tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 No IKEA here. Unfortunately. The only places close are a Home Depot, Walmart and a huge outlet Mall as well as regular chain grocery stores, pharmacies and a few other stores. We have a PetSmart and one boutique pet supply place. The boutique has the top pet supplies but they also have goats milk, pumpkin and some very handy cat supplies. I just found that store recently. High end but nice to know I can find some emergency type supplements.
Home Depot does have that laminate. I nearly put it in the cat room but when I got it home and read the pamphlet, it said to avoid getting it wet! Ummm, the cats love to play in the water dishes. Lol I returned the flooring and exchanged it for the flooring we have now. I was just afraid it would not stand up to this many kitties. I would have liked it though. It was pretty and seemed fairly easy to install.
We actually had a flooring store open near here but they did not last. I think the big box stores out sold them. I did use them for one room but that was before the Clowder. It was carpet for the guest room and I tore that out a long time ago.
Your computer is acting weird? That is so frustrating!! I hope it was just a simple glitch. I have been hearing of some little internet issues that do some odd stuff but no I’ll effects on the computers. We can all do without ANY system problems. Ummmm, your Blue Lap too wasn’t playing jokes on you, was he? If any catnip or silver vine shows up at the door, I would be suspicious!

M maggiedemi I know!! When I saw the cake in a litter box...... that can’t be an appetizing way to serve it. But then, the whole litter cake thing is supposed to be a joke. I can see that it might keep me from eating things I am not supposed to eat though.

I have a couple of cat friends who would find the cake funny. The one who made me the birthday cake out of ingredients that the kitties could eat too is the main one who came to mind. She has one whole wall covered in cat pictures. The room is everything cat! I don’t know how appetizing she would find the look of the cake but it would definitely make her laugh. So, while Banjo did make me think about that, I admit to posting it myself.:paperbag:

I have to say that I prefer burps myself! Lol I thought it was sweet that Banjo was washing Whistle to comfort him with his full tummy. She is a very good sister. She has always taken very good care of her brother. It still warms my heart to watch them together. They went through a lot but never wavered in the devotion to each other.

Mountain Bear was very interested in what I was doing. His parents , not so much. Blue even hissed at me when I was moving furniture. Poor Blue. He is defending the Bear cave. I am not working in the room tomorrow in order to give them a break.

We have been missing Froggie. I was getting worried myself. Banjo didn’t even go to the back door! Today she spent time watching for Froggie.

There is definitely a close bond between these two! I guess Froggie called, texted or emailed? Maybe Banjo sent him a message. Or she just sensed he was near? She might have ESP. Extra Sensory Purring. I was very relieved to see Froggie.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Banjo KNOWS and the bond with the Froggie Prince is very strong. An inspiration for us all!
I had to start in the "new way" again, and I looked up some more stuff. Normally a desktop lasts 3-8 years according to what I read. My system is going on 7 years and so I hope to keep it going for another year at least. It's a really good system. Plus, I do not like adding to the world's e-waste. Plus, new systems of the specs of mine are VERY expensive. :gaah::sigh:

How do you mop the floor, if you can't get it wet? :headscratch:

Oh...So it's a joke cake, not a revenge cake? Okay, that sounds more like you then.

Me too. But growing up with a house full of men, we unfortunately had more of the other kind.

Or she just sensed he was near?
She sensed he was always there in the background, waiting to reappear when she needed him most? ;)

You have to use a special cleaner on laminate floors. To mop using water will ruin them.

BellaGooch BellaGooch Ahh! Cats seem to know a lot about faith and patience. Just watch a kitty trying to get a toy behind a cabinet or to fit into a box that isn’t really very large. They have the patience to continue to reach for the toy and the faith that they can fit into that box.

JamesCalifornia JamesCalifornia How wonderful to see you here! Thank you so much for the kind encouragement.:blush:How could I ever resist any kitty? They are my inspiration each day. If there are angel wings around here, they come with pointy ears, whiskers and a smile. They lift me up.

tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 Banjo did know! I watched her all day and somehow she knew her Prince would come. Froggie is still there beside her today.
We’ll all try to have a little faith that your system contours to last. Longer that eight years. Anything is possible. Hoping!:vibes::geekcat: Big Blue lap tops may add special purrsistent abilities to a system.

M maggiedemi You use a nearly dry mop on laminate. You can’t wear stiletto heels ( not that I would. Lol) , use a vacuum with a beater bar, must wipe spills immediately, basically..... take great care with those surfaces. A traditional wood floor can be refinished but laminate must be protected. The flooring is supposed to be great but I know that , around here, they would have claw marks or hairball stains. Lol That’s why I didn’t want to risk it.
Definitely a joke cake. I believe in asking for justice but not for revenge. I always prefer to get laughter. Even if there is an , Ewwwww! attached. Lol

Yea. I had a brother in the house when I was growing up. Talk about Ewwww! Lol

I’m sure that Banjo knew that Froggie would return. I don’t know how she knew when but she seemed to know. I guess that bond is a very special one. Perhaps they have a secret signal?
N NY cat man Exactly!! Water ruins laminate and can warp wood. I read that a vinegar solution can work but dust mops or , as tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 mentuoned, the Swiffer is supposed to be okay. I have seen the Pergo floors too. I didn’t price it though. I have seen bamboo flooring too. That might be tough enough to resist scratching? Fairly Renewable resource. We had heart of pine floor growing up. Actually, by the time we had the house it was more like fat lighter! Lol it was really tough with our animals. Even when the pony slipped in the house, no hoof marks. For urgent cleaning, a damp cloth and pine oil is what mother used. For some reason, mother always objected when the pony came inside.:dunno:

Jcatbird Jcatbird I wish I could help you from personal experience!!! I’m nowhere near Alabama though, unfortunately :bawling:

Michele has one of those Swiffer mops, and she uses a solution that is mainly 91% isopropyl alcohol, which she applies to the mop head with a spray bottle. It works well, but then we have a high gloss surface to work with, and how well it would work on a textured one I couldn't say.

That box says a lot about feline qualities, doesn't it?
There's plank oak under the carpets here -- takes a beating and keeps on supporting, I guess you could say. It's very nice peg-and-groove flooring and would look better than this old carpet but I prefer comfort and low noise, so the carpet stays while I do.

My system is failing. I had to work really hard to get up and running this morning and don't know how much longer the old system will work. It's getting really squirrely. SO I have a new one coming but it will take awhile. If I go invisible for awhile, please don't worry -- just like Ahnold, I'll be baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack ;) but I've selected free shipping so it may take awhile.

Just a hope for info from any possibilities here. I need to find fosters in Alabama if anyone knows of any. Even one life saved would be great!
Where in Alabama Jcatbird Jcatbird ? I know a cat lover there, I'll have to remember where she lives.

Please do your back up! Else you'll loose all you've done. My desktop died on me and I have some more stuffs in it and cannot retrieve them as I did not back up the last bits :( :crash: :argh: I ended up getting a new laptop.
