My positive was taking a walk outside. Since I have a new phone that can use apps outside, I went for a walk after my dance workouts and meditation this morning. Listened to a podcast while walking which helped block out any traffic noises. The sun was also shinning today and refreshing to see. I was almost too hot, too! Since I wore my knee length shorts, I had my ankle length coat zipped up but started sweating! So I opened it up. Luckily it is in upper 30's today, so my legs did not freeze and it was comfortable walking with my coat open in the front.

Mrs. Clinton?
Sorry, this made me laugh, but no, not the same person, I never thought of that though. Mrs. Clinton spells her first name with two LL's, not sure I can picture Hillary Clinton baking either. Hilary's cookies are sold in Whole Foods but she also opened a store front bakery.

My positive is although I planned to get an early start this morning I overslept and it felt so good. :sleep2:

The installation of my new septic system is going quick! The tank is in and connected to the house and they are covering up a lot. One guy is prepping the pipes for the drain field. It's been a long 2 1/2 months (or just under that; but still!) since it failed. I'm sure you've all heard it enough. So you know I am beyond happy this day has finally come!! There will be hot showers in my very near future!!
The sun is shining again today and there is a floppy, warm kitty sprawled in my lap
Bliss! :cloud9:

Got first Covid vaccine dose!!
I just spent one hour and 37 minutes talking to my 99 year old grandfather. He has had his first vaccine and hes doing just fine. 😉

We discussed everything from gardening to politics...boy he’s spunky!! 😅 I don’t know if I need booze, chocolate or heavy carbohydrates. 😅😂 But gosh I love him to pieces even when we don’t see eye to eye on everything. 🤣😂🤣🤣 I need a nap! 🤪

I vote for carbs! 🍞🍝🍕

My positive is I made fried bread dough again today, and it tasted a billion times better. I figured out that you have to roll the dough really thin. If it's too thick, then it tastes like a cardboard brick for some reason. I think that's why my stromboli tasted bad, I didn't roll it thin enough maybe.

Was it by appointment? Did you have to wait a long time? Just curious, how do you feel, any side effects?

I made this French toast in a mug for lunch, and it was pretty yummy!
That does look yummy but I would probably leave out the syrup and add more cinnamon. Thanks for the link.

My positive is since getting my stitches out the other day I can slowly go back to eating some of my favorite foods instead of pudding, apple sauce and jello.

I ended up getting cheesy bread from Dominos and a pizza for the kids to split. They have a good deal where you can get those for like $7 each. It’s cheaper than drive-thru fast food. Since our septic isn’t quite finished we still had to go get showers at my moms and I just couldn’t stomach another tuna sandwich. It was that or Spaghettios.

It definitely hit the spot!

Then I has tandoori style chicken marinating for our dinner. I haven’t made it in years but mom had given me a container of Indian style yogurt. It was SO good and a nice change of pace.

First, the not so positive - DH went out to run a quick errand early this morning. The temp was only 7 F and as soon as he started the car his tire light went on. Turned out he had a flat. It had a nail and piece of metal in it. The tire already had a patch in it so he knew he was on borrowed time. Now the positive, the tire store he called was able to get it taken care of without any trouble. 🚙

We are back in business!! They are still cleaning up my yard some (even my front yard is torn up!!) but we are able to use our water like normal now. My son has finally left the window. It's too windy to put straw down where new grass needs to grow so they will come back to do that.

I'm going to need to replant my irises from the looks of things. I kind of wish I'd have known so I could dig them up before they came. Maybe the ones on the edges will still be there and come back up. This is giving me an excuse to relandscape the other side of the fence too. I've been wanting a yellow rose bush to honor Noodles. :rbheart:

New grocery order came today. While the watermelon was out, all my other goodies were in stock. Last time I ordered I only got 1 package of donuts and my mom gave me a hard time and said I could have ordered more snacks (she usually gives me a hard time for getting too many!) So I told her I'd make up for it next time. I ordered a box of hostess cupcakes, half baked ben and jerry's ice cream pint, reeses pieces in a chocolate bar, toffee in a chocolate bar, and a huge tub of chocolate chip cookie dough. Yum yum. Oh, and strawberries! <3
