Yes, I am feeling better, thanks for asking. It kind of came on unexpectantly (which I imagine most of them do), but the same thing happens every time (I get jittery, start to sweat, feel exhausted and dizzy, and then I want to eat everything in sight), so I went and laid down and ate some granola bars.
Have you even checked your blood sugar when you had one of these attacks? That’s what I feel like if I am having a low. if you have never checked your blood sugar you can buy a kit at places like Walmart for under $20.

I've gone to the doctor when it's happened in the past and they couldn't find anything wrong. A few years ago I had a similar thing happen and my dad took my blood sugar right after and it was normal, so that's why I've associated it with being a panic attack.

Whether a blood sugar test could pick up a low depends on how soon “after” you were tested. If you eat something high carb you can have a low and be back to normal within 15 minutes.

I would rather have the real thing! Can't wait until summer comes back around. ☀
Me, too! I'm really missing NC this time of year because IL is so gloomy... I think tomorrow is partly cloudy though, which I'm looking forward to. Picking up some curbside clearance cat pet food at 2 different pet stores and picking up meds for my kitties. Excited to get out of the house and drive as it has been a few weeks at least. I will be listening to podcasts in the car.

I paid off my car yesterday, 9 months early too. I was able to change my insurance to reflect that and I'll be saving $500 a year.
Congrats! :party3: :celebrate::celebrate: Anything special plans for the extra money from these lowered/eliminated monthly expenses?

Have you ever tracked things that have happened before you noticed symptoms? This happens with me, too. There are times my abs tense and realize they are tight, and then I notice my other muscles are tightening like I'm shivering and cold, but I'm also sweating so I know it is not that. Sometimes it intensifies into a panic attack where I feel lightheaded and sometimes I start feeling scared and want to cry. I've found certain stimuli triggers it for me, but sometimes there is a delay of a couple minutes before I notice the symptoms. But it has happened enough times I pinned down different stimuli that was the cause.

We went to our local pet store to pick up a case of wet food for Carleton. My positive is one of the customers walked in holding an 8 week old bulldog puppy that was just darling. 💖 I asked if I could take a pic of him.
ADORABLE <3 <3 <3

Another positive: My new phone is set up and ready to use! I also received two more books today, one came yesterday, and some more will be coming later! Excited to get to reading!

Any extra money will probably go toward home repairs, unfortunately. :p

The episodes are so infrequent that I haven't recognized a trigger yet, but I'll keep a record of any changes that may happen if it does happen again.

Kinda! That is west of Chicago, and I'm more north of Chicago.

Absolutely. It just took me a while to realize mine had triggers most of the time, which is why I wanted to mention it in case that could be the case. Understanding what triggered them helped me to manage them better. I understand this may not be the case for everyone. :petcat:
