Me, too! Although, I think I'm just a *little* happier than you about that. Woke up to a gloomy morning with magical white stuff cascading from the sky! Made me giggle in delight. Looking forward to my first eating time and think this will be a wonderful hot chocolate day while staring outside at the wonderful precipitation. The trees already are top coated with lovely snow. 🥰
Glad to hear. Ours turned to rain at the end so everything is pretty icy.

We had our Twelfth Night celebration last night. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law have been vaccinated, so they were able to come to it. My mother-in-law told my husband that she had a wonderful time and that she had more fun than she has had at any of her family holiday celebrations. She really meant it, too! They stayed from 4:45 to almost midnight!

I made sous vide beef roast, Szechwan roasted duck, mashed potatoes, stuffing, mac-and-cheese, herbed asparagus in a cheese cream sauce, green beans, honeyed carrots, pretzel bread, "everything bagel" bread, raspberry pavlova, and Pastéis de Nata (a type of egg tart) flavored with orange flower water and cinnamon.I made a massive amount so that everyone could have leftovers.

My legs hurt so much that my husband rubbed them until I fell asleep. He then did the dishes. My goodness, I love that man!

Not to pat myself on the back, but my mother-in-law does not particularly like beef roast yet loved it. My husband picked on her by telling her that I had been cooking for days and that I used the Instant Pot that she gave me for the roast, so she gave in. She was happy that she did. The asparagus was such a hit that I will have to make at least twice as much next time I make it for a holiday! Haha!

That's quite a yummy feast. 👍

My positive is here's what I got in our Walmart order: Potato salad, XXtra Hot Cheetos, Flamin' Hot Ruffles, dried mango, dried pineapple, dried figs, dried chopped dates, dried banana chips, Zeppy's plain bagels, oyster crackers, Triscuit thin crisps crackers, frozen cheese filled soft pretzel sticks, wheat French bread, Catalina dressing.

Wonder if it will turn icy here, too. Isabelle and I are out on the deck and hear water trickling down the water spouts off the neighbors roof so some must be melting, but there is still snow floating down from the sky.

My positive is I got everything I had to do out of the way this morning, e.g. laundry, vacuuming, bills, etc. and finished reading my library book this afternoon. Now I can pick up a new one from the drive-thru since the building is closed due to the current mandate restrictions.

MonaLyssa33 MonaLyssa33 how sweet :hearthrob: You’re feeling better?
Yes, I am feeling better, thanks for asking. It kind of came on unexpectantly (which I imagine most of them do), but the same thing happens every time (I get jittery, start to sweat, feel exhausted and dizzy, and then I want to eat everything in sight), so I went and laid down and ate some granola bars.

Looking at the calendar, 20 November! Haha!

I have good movies waiting for me at the library.

Indecent Proposal
Muriel's Wedding
M, Butterfly
The Other Side of the Mountain
Muriel's Wedding is such a fun movie! I would rather eat glass than never see it again.

I had a mild panic attack this afternoon, but Flora came and comforted me when I laid in bed until it subsided. I always knew she was the sweetheart. ;-)
Aw, love when furbabies know what is happening and come to comfort us. I'm so glad you had kitty to help you through. Panic attacks are no joke!

:lol:about to eat a bowl of dryers chociolate ice cream with truffles
My stomach growled loudly when reading this. Sounds sooooo good! How was it???

Did a new morning meditation this morning that had you visual the sun warming up your body starting with your feet and slowly up to the head. I felt very energized during the exercise and added the video to my favorites. Nice way to start the day!
