My inside walk was less boring than I expected, as Miss Ruby followed me up and down the stairs, and all around the house several times
That's so cool that Ruby followed you! Maggie likes to hide and throw herself at me, claws out, when I'm taking my walk. Other times she will throw herself down in the doorway on her back with her paws in the air, so I can't pass. And sometimes she will punch me in the leg as I walk by.

90 minutes of yoga this morning, followed by 30 minutes of clearing snow. Yes, it finally started snowing! After that I walked for about an hour. It was pretty hard going in the soft, powdery snow, but I wanted to try out my new hiking boots. I was actually a little too warm in a ski jacket, fleece, woolly hat and a double thickness mask.

It's supposed to be sunny for the rest of the week, so the snow won't last long.
Mt. Fugi is a ski area and they will be happy to have the powder, my four year old cat did the pumping-kneading for the first time. Is that a habbit from his nursing days as a kitten?

Your descriptions of Maggie’s punches always make me laugh!!! :flail:

last night I did some more “dancing.” I haven’t walked in a while and I feel gross. The ice cream/ cookie I ate tonight didn’t help. Hoping to go for a walk tomorrow.

Trying to convince myself to go for a walk today while the temps are still nice. Tomorrow we go into a below freezing spell, so I know already there won't be any outside walks those days. :cold:

I'm back on track after sitting around sampling desserts all weekend. Already did my 1 hour leg/arm lifts, booty-swinging exercises at 7:30am. I will take my 2 hour walk inside at 3pm.

That's so sweet! My lot would just try to trip me over if I did that.

Yes, I'm sure they are. Do you ski?

An hour of yoga and an hour walk yesterday. 90 minutes yoga so far this morning. I'm heading out for a walk soon.

Did Ruby follow you around on your walk indoors again? I wish Demi would, but he just sleeps. He doesn't mind me petting him each time I walk by though. I wouldn't dare pet Maggie that many times.

Just my usual 2 hour walk indoors and 1 hour stretching exercises.

When I time it right before her supper, yes, she follows me around till I feed her. Any other time of day, she pays no attention. No walk today yet, inside or outside. Maybe tomorrow.

The weather was pretty today- there was a nice ocean breeze- so all in all it was really nice!
You're so lucky to live near the ocean. I love walking near the coast, but I'm so far inland that I only get to be near the sea on day trips.

I had a 90 minute walk and an hour of yoga on Wednesday and Thursday. Friday was my errand running day, but I did 45 minutes of yoga too.

I was going to go for a walk this afternoon, but the rain has turned to sleet. Two 45 minute yoga sessions instead.

How's everyone been doing this week?

I've only had one walk since last Sunday. It's been snowing a lot and so I've been getting my fresh air and exercise shoveling the path clear every morning. Have to make sure the cats have a clear path from their cat door to their favourite perch in the middle of the enclosure too.

I've been doing lots of yoga too. With my yoga mat rolled out right in front of the heater.

I've lost track, but think I went for a couple 20-ish minute walks this week. Today is cold. -6 feels like -11 c / 21 feels like 12 F, so other than a quick trip to the grocery store, I'm staying inside. After tomorrow, it's supposed to be above freezing again, but rainy, so not sure how much outside walking I'll be able to do. The car needs a shower to get all the salt off it, so I'll likely go for a drive one of those rainy days. ;)

I left the house today!
:hyper:
I started with two hours of cleaning. The house always looks pretty grim on Monday morning because I don't have chance to do much over the weekend. Then, after lunch, a walked for an hour.

There's still loads of snow around. I was having fun spotting different animal foot prints in the snow. Someone taught me how to tell the difference between deer and boar prints recently. Turns out we have a lot of both around here.

I wouldn't say I'm back on track, but I did go for a 27 minute walk today. So good start to a new month. Tomorrow's gonna snow and rain, so pretty sure there won't be a walk.

When I got my rowing machine I thought I would listen to books while I rowed, but I have discovered that YouTube videos work better to distract me and pass the time. Most are 20 to 30 minutes long so I save ones to watch in a playlist and enjoy them while I row.

Well, I managed three walks last week. One hour on Monday, Wednesday and today. It's kind of hard to stay motivated when it's either snowing, or just been snowing.

I had a nice walk today though. Even though some places are covered in ice and other places are really muddy.

I've been doing yoga every day. I've been working on getting into the splits. I can get almost all the way down on my left side and I'm not far off on the right side either.

Can't wait for spring when I can go for a nice long hike again.
