I sent my brother Harry & David chocolate truffles for Christmas, and he loved them! We toured the H&D factory a couple of years ago, and one of the areas they took us was where they were making truffles. That and the area where they make Moose Munch were very cool! Actually, the whole operation is amazing. :yummy:
:lol:i was reading the post thinking ohh yummm those sound good while eating these

My positive is that I finally got a 2021 calendar
This was the first year ever that I didn't buy a calendar. But it has been 15 days into the year and I don't really miss it. So maybe I don't need one after all. I can always look online for the date.

My positive is Dad and I did one last round of dessert sampling, and I still hate dessert. It's just too sweet for me. So that's a good thing. I can get back to eating healthier. I do like fried bread dough, so I will make that once in a while or get some at the fair after the pandemic.

Today was puzzle selling day. I do jigsaw puzzles all year long and my accumulation of completed puzzles was getting out of hand. Last year donated and gave them away for free. This year I decided to sell them because due to COVID I bought more new than I usually do. So yesterday I got them all listed and posted on a couple websites and sold 25 puzzles by dinner time. I price them very cheap because for me it’s more about sharing the pleasure of jigsaw puzzles with others than the cash.

My positive is I think I'm gonna make fried bread dough today, but this time I want to use yeast and make the real puffy kind like they sell at the state fair. Dad only taught me the flat bread kind, so I will have to look up a recipe online. Wish me luck. I'll probably need it.

I love the coffee cozy I bought from an Etsy shop  Sometimes when I order hot chocolate from the cafe and do a curbside pick up, I don't get the cardboard sleeve that goes on the cup to keep fingers from being burned. A folded napkin doesn't help much. So I found coffee cozies on Etsy and bought a really cute Rifle Paper floral one:

It works really well. No more burned fingers :yess: The shop briefly didn't have any cozies listed but just relisted them so I bought two more

After exercising this morning and filling up my tank at the gas station I decided to sit down and read a good portion of my library book. I couldn't put it down and I'm almost finished. 📖
What kind of exercise this morning? What book are you reading? What is it about?

Good luck! Cannot wait to hear how it went. Bet you will rock it! It will be a fun learning experience, nonetheless!

We are in the middle of a snow storm right now.
Me, too! Although, I think I'm just a *little* happier than you about that. Woke up to a gloomy morning with magical white stuff cascading from the sky! Made me giggle in delight. Looking forward to my first eating time and think this will be a wonderful hot chocolate day while staring outside at the wonderful precipitation. The trees already are top coated with lovely snow. 🥰

Today a family member took a very brave step in getting his act together. I never thought I see the day! This is a very big step for him and I hope everything turns out well for him.👏👏👏😊
How wonderful! It is such a beautiful thinking watching people grow. My mom did similar with putting in a boundary, and I never thought I'd see the day either! What wonderful strength.

Snow is over! Cal and I cuddled yesterday. She loves the new throws we have.
How much snow did you get?
