M maggiedemi It's a sort of biscuit dough - flour, cornmeal, baking powder, cold butter chopped around in a Magic Bullet then mixed with milk and dropped by teaspoon on top of the whatever it is. The ravioli looking ones at Cracker Barrel are quite different. Probably a noodle type dough rolled out to enclose a filling. So many cuisines have a variant - wonton, pierogi, kreplach, and yes, ravioli.

Last night was kielbasa sandwich.. The rolls were very small, so I had 2 of them. I have leftovers for either tonight or tomorrow.

The chicken breast from the building was ok... just ok.. very bland, but that is ok... I can eat that tonight and save the kielbasa for tomorrow.
I hate to waste food, but I have to order for the week, by Tuesday afternoon. it is so hard to plan for the week.. A ton of the food is inedible.

They want us to send in comments about the food. The only reason reason I am ordering as much as I have for the past 2 weeks is to honestly, evaluate the food. Last week, one meal looked like Geoffrey's vomit.. actually, his vomit is more appetizing than the food here.. so bad...

I told them how I felt.. It is anonymous.

Breakfast: 2 slices Great Value wheat bread toasted, butter, vanilla sugar. Half of a Pinata apple.

Lunch: Snack plate- finished up the tomato basil Wheat Thin crackers, Utz original chips, one hard boiled egg, the other half of that Pinata apple, 3TB Velveeta liquid cheese sauce in the packet.

Dinner: Plateful of that mushy crockpot pasta my mom made, habanero sauce, fire salt, one piece of cornbread crumbled on top. She put salsa on top of it and baked it again. :bawling: My dad just hides in his room at dinner time now. He refuses to eat her cooking anymore.

Does anybody know how to make a single caramel apple? I'm craving one, but can't find any recipes for just one. Do I use brown sugar or white sugar? I have butter, milk, vanilla extract. Do I bake it on or just refrigerate?

Last night's pasta made 2 servings, so I had the leftovers for lunch today. So dinner was another snack plate, or should I say "charcuterie". Had to go back and look that word up again. btw. ;)

Raisin Bread toast, cheese and apple. As usual, don't think my plating looks good. Should have at least had the toast pointing upwards, I think. And, also, need to get some colourful plates for my food photography, as white is pretty boring.

Here's the link to some at All Recipes. Their recipes have a calculator that you can change the # of servings, so one of them may work for you. I'd probably make the recipe for at least 2 servings, just to ensure you have enough caramel to cover the apples. And read the reviews, as there'll be tips and hints in them.

Do you like having the caramel on the apple? If that part doesn't matter to you, it might be easier to make a caramel sauce and then dip apple wedges in. Making caramel with a can of sweetened condensed milk is super easy, and quicker if you use the Instant Pot (I think you said your dad has one? If he lets you use it).
