I'm in love with the 1st one as the red an gold compliment each other so well and the 3rd one with the icicle twigs. Very enchanting looking with the frozenness! They all look very artistic. You're very talented!
Thank you. I think that’s my favorite too. The big red lilly has some gold on the edges of the petals but its hard to see. I looked up pictures of vintage Christmas corsages and a lot had some kind of bobble included; so I like the gold things (I have no idea what they actually are supposed to be!) too. Its just huge overall.

It was kind of fun to make and I have enough leftovers to make an arrangement if I want. Except for the mistletoe. I just don’t have time. I really don’t need one more thing to do. But it was nice to sneak in something fun and creative. I had bought a bunch of mini canvases to do some painting with the kids but I’ve been too busy. DD has a whole stack done though.:rolleyes2:

The only way I eat soft-boiled eggs is in ramen, really. We were never a household to do this kind of thing, it always seemed *european* aka Fancy, because you need the little stand and spoon and it just seems very *proper*. I'm an uncultured American though, I get self-conscious using knives around my European friends because they seem so much more proper in their usage. I just hack at things and scoop. I do love a runny yolk, but it would be coming from a fried egg generally.
I think it is more European - I started eating soft-boiled eggs like that after studying abroad in France and having them at a B&B on a side trip to Croatia. I even did get an egg cup at one point, but idk where it is. I'm not supposed to eat runny egga while pregnant anyway, so it's probably good I can't find it and be tempted! :yummy:

Snowstorm! I realized I was out of a key ingredient for tomorrow’s dinner so decided on a quick trip to the store. Just a few drops of sleet falling. Ran in, picked up four things and did self checkout. Five minutes tops in the store. Went outside to heavy snow and about two inches had already fallen on my car.

I am so aggravated right now. My psychiatrist recommended getting a happy light, so I ordered one from Amazon. Decided to try it out today, and it doesn't work. Doesn't even turn on.
That sucks. Is this an item that has free returns/exchanges? Amazon normally is great with refunds. I know it's not fun waiting for an item that works though. This reminds me when I only received 1 box of 2 for that new cat tree I bought. I was so bummer because I was really excited to set it up, but now had to wait.

Once you have a working light, you'll have to let me know how it works for you! In high school, my mom considered buying me one. Never did, but have thought about it throughout the years. Hang in there. :heartshape:

How was the drive home?? It sounds like you are receiving an abundance of snow. Feel free to send some my way. :) We have a day in the 50's today and a high of 18* tomorrow, haha. No snow predicted until next week.

(Feel free to post some beautiful snowy pictures so I can vicariously live through you and your snow storm! ;) )

I can take it to the UPS Store in Morgantown, and they'll package and ship it for free, so there's that, at least. I may have to spring for a more expensive one, just to get one that works :rolleyes2:

That all sounds awful! Talk about a white Christmas!! I’m glad you are all home safe and sound!

I think I am going to start some wrapping. My kids are spending tonight at my moms to help her cook tomorrow. (DD already put a lasagna together too!) I have one pumpkin pie to make and my kitchen desperately needs a mopping. But if I wrap while they aren’t here I might actually get to sleep tomorrow night! I probably should wait till DH is in bed so he can be surprised at what all they got too.:lol2:

I went to the bathroom, less than five minutes, and came back to this.

Now they're both cuddling by me.

Ugh, I need to figure our Lelia's overgrooming. I bought a feliway and need to find a place to plug it in to see if it helps.
