My positive is I'm getting new shoes for xmas. I was taking care of the wild birds outside my porch. When I turned around to walk back my foot came out of the shoe. They were stuck in the mud. So I had to walk back in my socks. Slush,slush...thew the socks away

I usually get my car waxed in preparation for winter but procrastinated this year and it's supposed to snow Sunday night. I thought it would be busy at the car wash/detail shop since it's Black Friday and people are home. But my positive is I had no trouble getting my car washed, interior cleaned and exterior waxed in just under an hour.

Did you just leave your shoes in the mud?

My positive is I have my compression stocking on my sore right leg. I have 4 different ones. This one just goes over the knee, but I have the full length ones too. This one is size Small, the others are size Medium. It fits good, doesn't feel too tight. I'll wear it all day and on my 2 hour walk, then wash it in the sink and hang to dry.

My positive is DH and I went shopping for Small Business Saturday today. We like to support the independent privately owned shops especially since they have been affected by the pandemic this year. We've made a tradition of exchanging holiday gifts with our neighbors who have pets so we stopped in a local pet store too. :bluepaw:

That sounds like fun. What kind of pets do they have?

My positive is I really like my Raisin Rosemary Pumpkin Crisps from Aldi. I wasn't really sure what to expect because they look like little toast crackers in the photo, but I know that Crisps can be cookies in some countries. I am happy to report, they do not taste like cookies, they taste like pretzels in the shape of crackers. Kinda weird, but I like them. Pic below:

Most of the neighbors have dogs, a few have cats or both, and one has a cockatiel.

Those crisps from Aldi look tempting. We have an Aldi close by so I'll have to check if they carry them on my next grocery visit.

I found Gracie's green mouse and her purple mouse underneath the fridge this morning. We had been looking for them for months!! Only reason I looked under there was because I was looking for Boone's water bottle top he had been playing with and couldn't find it in the normal places. Gracie was so happy to get her two babies back again.

They have 2 other flavors besides the raisin one I got-- fig and cranberry.

My positive is I got some new "smalls", as Mia6 Mia6 calls them. It is one of those cross your heart ones, I always wanted to try them. It is so comfortable! Finally figured out my correct size. I tried to measure myself according the chart, but it's really hard. Hee hee. Probably too much info, but I was really excited to get it.

Positive... Finished with all of this years new Christmas decorations.

My normal ones are in off site storage--- With Covid, I am not trusting going to the storage center to pick them up... Who knows how diligent they are about cleaning.. and who knows how diligent they are to anyone coming in and out: ie, masks, gloves, etc.....

So I picked up some new things, this year... some I will keep and add... I did order some nice things, on line.. It looks festive.. not what I usually have, but festive..

I do miss my own Nativity set. I had it since I was 8 year old... I did buy a small hand carved one piece.. in olive wood, from Bethlehem.. It is has incredible detail.. small, all one piece. They put some pebbles from Bethlehem, enclosed in glass, as a star, in front of the manger.. It is a middle eastern family who owns the company.. profits go to the needy.. they employ family and the needy... great craftsmanship....

Listening to Christmas music... just love this music.. I am a count fan, so Pandora's Country Christmas is playing on Alexa.... until I dig out my own CD's to play...I have been singing all afternoon...

I got deals on the last few items on my kid’s Christmas lists today. The hard/expensive part is over.

That sounds really pretty!

I have one of the nativities we had when I was a kid but I haven’t put it up with my kids. I’ve been afraid it would break because the people are a hand sculpted clay. My mom got it from someone local where she grew up. One of my cats broke a wing off the angel when I was a teen so I’m kind of protective of it now I guess. We do have a Little People nativity and a wooden one. I rearranged how I normally decorate so maybe this year I can put it up. My kids are much more trustworthy now too:lol:

Michele's older brother continues to make progress in his battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. It is painfully, achingly, slow progress, but it is progress nonetheless. Considering where he was at the start, it is a minor miracle that he is still above the grass, instead of looking up at the roots.
