Dried apricots are delicious and work quite well to get things moving.
I bought some actual prunes at my midwife's suggestion, but not sure how well they're working. I'm also not sure how many I'm supposed to eat per day.

No. Well, we have a crib because my parents bought it for us, but it's not put together, but the bassinet and car seat/stroller and rocking chair and other big stuff we're waiting to see if there are Black Friday sales we can use with the completion discount.

We have some of the little stuff, but hopefully I don't go into preterm labor and we'll have time.
I was going to ask if they still have the discount to complete your registry. That helps a lot. I registered for some bigger stuff just because I wanted to use the discount on them. With the Internet and smartphones; you’ll be able to order things more easily and get them quickly.

Yeah, both Amazon and Buy Buy Baby have 15% completion discounts, which aren't bad at all. That's exactly why I registered for the big stuff. I figure that's why a lot of people do nowadays, so it doesn't necessarily look like "Buy me these expensive things" and more like "Hey, I want a discount."

Dried dates are good too. I think DH eats about 4 dates and 2-4 prunes. (Not all in the same day.) DS has fiber gummies that help him.
I was actually reading today that dates were also shown to help with easier labor and delivery, so I think once I finish these prunes, they're going to be my next dried fruit. I take two fiber choice chewable tablets a day, too (that was a before pregnancy thing that I just continued). I'll keep chugging along, but was told I could take colace if it got too bad.

My fingers, toes and any other body part I can think of are crossed for you. 🤗 I hope if you have Covid it's a very mild case. I think trying to distract yourself and focus on what you need for Bebe is a good idea. Don't limit yourself to just baby essentials, you can also think about books, crib mobile, toys, music, etc. Hopefully your appetite returns and you get some of your energy back. In the meantime, get plenty of rest. Sending lots of hugs and special thoughts.:grouphug:

neely neely - Thank you. I've started sneezing a bit tonight which is not a common covid symptom, so maybe it's just a cold??? I'm hoping so hard, but I'm afraid to feel positive. If I don't start feeling worse in the next few days I can assume it's a mild case if it is positive.

We got some books at our baby shower, and I have a bunch I took when one of the schools I was working at closed down. I'm strongly considering splurging on the lovevery play kits because they seem like really good quality, and we'd be able to reuse them for a second child. I don't think I want a lot of junk. I remember how overwhelmed I would get when I had to clean up my toys as a child, even though I was convinced I wanted them all, so I'm hoping we can try to balance quality and quantity a bit.

I'm able to eat, I just don't feel hungry like I usually do after I haven't eaten in a while. Idk. This week has just been so stressful.

If you can get Bebe signed up for Dolly Partons Imagination Library I highly recommend it! Both my kids got books and there were some amazing ones! None were cheap or low quality; but some became favorites.

I don’t know how it is in your area; but fall allergy season seems to be dragging out here with the warmer temperatures. We had 2 cold days so I thought we’d be good but nope. It hasn’t been bad for me; but I’d stopped DD’s allergy meds and she was sneezing her head off and asked for some after running around outside.

We are all a bit stressed right now and you have a second human! Stress alone can make us more susceptible to allergens even if you have NEVER had allergies before. Lots of new things happen when we carry a baby.
Those play kits were cool. I especially liked the mittens in the first one and could imagine Bebe looking at the patterns and swinging little hands around. I can remember little books from my childhood that had things of different textures inside. Similar to one of the items in a later play set from that listing. Just be prepared later in. Cats and babies have something in common. They all like the box that stuff comes in. As a child my parents got a new stove. Cats and child played in the box until it was ragged. Definitely not a toy of longevity but it was play quality time.Lol For later on, Something I have always done for little children here is to “make” a tent. A sheet over a table and a bunch of pillows underneath is all that is required. Lots of fun is ahead!

33 weeks

Bebe is the size of 3 chocolate croissants, a cauliflower blossom, a junior tennis racquet, a ferret, and two naan breads. Bebe's about 4.3lbs, I think as well, and now has their own immune system.

It's been almost two weeks since my covid exposure, and so I'm thinking even if my test ended up being a false negative, I would have a very mild case (I'm hoping the test was correct, though, since I did see my midwife and went food and pet food shopping).

My sister had her baby on Sunday. Thankfully, the day before our anniversary and not yhe anniversary itself. She ended up having a boy, and the name was nothing we'd considered if Bebe is a boy, so that's good. Still have some mixed feelings, but pretty okay.

So you didn't choose a cauliflower blossom for the picture? I used those naan breads to make pizza once. It was a hit. :yummy:

I'm glad to hear you've not been sick. :hugs:
I never know what Ovia is going to say until the day off, so if I want to go shopping ahead of time, I have to be creative. I've never seen a 17.2 inch cauliflower, though, so I wonder if that one is by weight? I love that naan bread, so yummy.

Me too. Hopefully I won't have any other exposures.
