Wondering if my name will be pulled. One of the sites I earn money on is pulling 3 names today and winners will get sweets or donuts of their choice delivered to their front door. I could of sworn I mentioned this before. I'm losing it. Anyway this sounds so good (to me) as I just love sweet and spicy food. Don't like sweet by itself though. I'm odd.

A donut… but make it SPICY!

Grab one & show your spicy side..

There's a location here in the airport terminal but parking is a mess out there and with COVID I doubt that I'll even be able to go out there. I actually hate Krispy Kreme and prefer Dunkin. Really wanting that donut.

GreyLady GreyLady How is dear Grey? Have you heard anything from doc? :hugs:
Thank you for asking. Yes he has a UTI and is currently on antibiotics. I think he may be feeling a little bit better. His last accident was the day before yesterday and he seems to have more energy yesterday and today chasing the girls around! The vet said he may have crystals though which will need to be addressed when the UTI clears up :) Ive been talking about it on this thread too:

Ok well my name wasn't pulled but I did go past a Dunkin on the way to the store and got one. I have to say, if you like sweet and spicy, this is a very good donut. I would eat them again. It wasn't overwhelming and actually a lot better tasting then it sounds.

Thank you <3

It was a bad experience we waited for almost half an hour in the car and he peed and pooped in the carrier. Then peed more inside the vet office... they were able to get a good sample... and they took some blood to do blood work. He has lost 2 pounds since a year ago so they said there should be a reason for that... I let them know about how we changed his food almost a year ago and he gets more exersize now with the stairs/going outside. They were thinking UTI but could also be diabetes or something with his kidneys so we will need to wait and see.

Still got the usual comments when the vet called me (its a curbside service) about how much he was purring and how easy to handle he was. Gotta love my good boy. He was such a mess when I got him home. I feel sad.
Aww bless him...and u...it’s so traumatic taking them to the vets. Grayson has a full meltdown every time. I hope they can give u some answers soon. Let us know when u hear something ❤

I feel as if I am in my early 20's.. I guess I have not matured, very much.......

To be honest; genetics are making me look about 20 years younger.. It is from both sides of the family... I do drink a ton of water; I guess genetics has been good to me... My parents did not look older; until, they were very ill: Until they were seriously ill; they looked as if they were 20 years younger.

A tons itis mind over matter, drinking a ton water, and trying to reduce stress... alcohol consumption, etc.....

It is all in your mind.
I will be 66 years old, next month.~~~ but I still eel as if I am in my 20's...... physically, no.. but mentally, yes...

Anyone know how long it usually takes for a bruise to form? Google has multiple opinions. :rolleyes3:  I don’t bruise very easily or often but about 12 hours ago a small soda can fell out of the fridge and got my middle toe good. I’m wondering if its going to look worse before its better.

I pulled my sock off a little while ago to see how it looked and now my whole toe is slightly bruised but theres a funny red knot with a white center over the last joint. I’m really glad DH decided our weather isn’t right for a 6 mile hike tomorrow. Before he heard about my toe. Thankfully it doesn’t hurt much now but when I did it I was glad I don’t cuss.

I normally bruise very easily, but when I passed out at school and bumped my head real good it took a couple days for the bruise coloring to show up. It looked like I had a black eye a bit... Ouchie on the toe! Toes seem to hurt a lot when they get slammed or stubbed, in my opinion. Hope you feel better soon.

Had lots of anxiety last night with Katrina looking worse due to her vaccinations. Vet said to give it 24-48 hours, and she seemed so sore last night and almost weak walking. It really worried me. I managed to get her to eat a few pieces of dry food, but she wasn't very interested in eating. Tried to stay calm and planned to call the vet again in the morning. In the middle of the night she drank some water and then ate wet food that was from her dinner. Phew! That was a relief. She seems almost back to normal this morning and came to eat breakfast right away. <3 Thank goodness.

I keep a few jars of baby food around for when my girls weren’t feeling good. It would entice Noodles. Mooch sometimes gets tired of her soup/gravy she gets Mirilax in twice daily. So she likes it as a change sometimes.

And thank you. 🙂 My toe does look worse but its nowhere near as painful as the time I did crack the tip of my little toe. This is more off and on. Even when I cracked the tip the bruise wasn’t that big. So I guess time will tell what this one will do.

I have broken a toe for sure once and likely a couple of times, pretty much the same way you did yours. Being short I reach too high, things drop and my toes get in the way. Anyway, usually I will bruise within hours, but sometimes you just get red and swollen for a couple of days before you can see the bruise appear.
