No, wasn't over doing it. Was actually walking less miles than I was used to doing. Would do 4-5 miles before. I wasn't getting any enjoyment and it became a chore.
It's definitely hard to get motivated when exercise feels like a chore. Maybe you can find some other exercise you'll enjoy more.

You've all been doing so well, walking in the cold. It's still warm enough to walk in a t-shirt here.
We're at that borderline temp where it's hard to know what to wear for a walk.

Dad gave me his denim jean shirt, but I was still too cold. So I took my 2 hour walk inside today. I hope I get to see that guy practicing agility training with his dog in the open field again. So much better than Creepy Guy! So far we just wave to each other, we haven't spoken. I love watching them, the dog looks like he's having so much fun.

Went for a mile walk with husband last night. Might just do my other walks as soon as I get home like I used to do on my trail walks. But I look forward to getting a snack and watching Judge Judy after getting home from work so.. :sigh:

Took my 2 hour walk inside today because it was cold. I saw that guy & his dog through the window though! They were using the field closer to my house for the agility training. He had somebody with him, but I couldn't see if it was a girl or not.

Give the snack to yourself as a reward after your walk. That's what I do with my 5pm coffee.
I used to do that when I walked after work on the trails. By the time I had my snack, it seems like it's almost time for dinner. I don't eat at work except for breakfast when I first get in at 5am.

Walked around my yard mowing the lawn, then walked around trimming around the edges, then walked around spreading lime. So not a "formal" walk, but a fair amount of walking nonetheless. And the hoodie was on and off, and on and off, and, well you get the idea. ;)

Yeah, I really have to make sure I'm back by 5pm, so I can fit in that coffee before dinner...I took my 2 hour walk outside today. I wore 2 shirts, but I was still freezing. I chatted with 2 different neighbors a little bit. One did not practice social distancing, but I think it's because he's 81 and can't hear me.

TONIGHT!
I have plans to go for a run for the first time in several months. The heat is gone, so wearing a light mask (anti-droplet) should be tolerable (I have really humid breath, idk).
My goal is to run Thursday nights and Saturday or Sunday mornings.

Beautiful walk this morning although I was a little overdressed. It was around 50 when I started but sunny and windless and I was only comfortable in my lined jacket for about the first five minutes, then way too warm. Leaves are piled up everywhere and so beautiful to look at and fun to walk through.

I will probably take my 2 hour walk inside today. It's only 46 degrees and I hate wearing a coat.

I had a nice hike on Monday. I went up a trail between two mountains where they've built a couple of...... I don't know what you'd call them in English. In Japanese they're known as Sabodan, which means landslide prevention walls/dams.

A spot of light trespassing to get on top of the Sabodan.

View of Lake Sai and Mount Fuji, peeping out from the clouds.

Taking a break after the long climb up.

You can't really see the little stream in this pic, but the water tasted good.

A few things we found on the trail.

I haven't been able to walk for the past two days as there is another typhoon going past. I got all my decorating done though, and I did 90 minutes of yoga yesterday and this afternoon.

I'm so disappointed that we didn't get a nice warmer fall like last year. I was able to walk outside until November. So I got cheated out of 2 months walking! But one thing I do like about walking inside is that I get to see my cats, I pet them every time I walk by, whether they want me to or not. And sometimes I read a clothing catalog while walking. So there are ways to make it interesting.

Gorgeous pics, as usual. No wonder you enjoy your walks so much. Do you have to drive to those areas, or are they walking distance from home.

Plus your Dad's music playlists, right. :musicnote::musicnote::musicnote:

Was last fall's weather typical for your area, or the exception. If normal, then it may warm up again. ☀

Today is sunny, though windy and chilly, but I did go for a 20 minute walk. Yesterday it rained, but the day before I got in a 28 minute walk. So 2 walks so far this week. 🚶‍♀️

Yes! He is making me a CCR/John Fogerty playlist for tomorrow!...I have no idea what the weather was like in years before because I was never outdoorsy until this year. I didn't really go outside or see people, since I was really sick for many years with the anorexia.

2 hour walk inside today. Weatherman and dad both said it was supposed to be nice out and 70 degrees. Wrong! It was freezing, raining, and thunder storming! Dad made me a John Fogerty/Reo Speedwagon mix for my playlist.
