There are fold-able drying racks you can buy.
Demi is so naughty though, he loves to swing from clothes. He ruins them if I leave them where he can reach.

Wondering if I have an addictive personality.
I kinda do. Like I have to try every brand of something to find my favorite one. Like coffee, granola, jeans...

Was watching the cam. One of the raccoons came up to Treasure. That is until Treasure swatted him. The raccoon backed of head ducked like “I just wanted to say hi”. Amazing how the raccoons back off like that instead of fighting.

I don't think people take plant addiction seriously... 🙄
Sorry, I'm having difficulty reading tone. Is this:

1) you were being silly and I misinterpreted?
or
2) you were being serious but don't think that a therapist would take you seriously?

Because if 1, oops, my bad! But if 2, a good therapist will take you seriously. It literally doesn't matter what you're struggling with, a good therapist will help.

No, I was being serious. But every time I Google "plant addiction" I get articles that joke about it and give more reasons as to why one should buy even more plants. It was more like a shower thought really. I only started collecting in mid to late June and I've bought so many already. My living room is full. So sometimes, I'll look around me as I sip my tea and wonder, "Perhaps I have a serious problem." But not in a joking way.

Lots of people have tendencies toward addiction. I know I do, and it definitely runs in my family. You can't change that though; your brain needs to be addicted to something. There's no way somebody with an addicted brain can get rid of all addictions.

I think the trick is to keep your addictions healthy. If you can get your dopamine hit from houseplants, and it isn't causing financial distress or causing some vital part of your life to be neglected, that's a healthy addiction. If it causes problems in your life past "haha, I have too many plants and it's mildly annoying to dust around them", then you might need professional help.

Whereas I am up every day at 6 AM...but only because that's an hour and a half before I go to bed...
Mon-Fri, I am up at 2:30am so the weekends are the only days I get to sleep in. The problem with waking up at 6am on the weekends is that I get sleepy early. I like to stay awake until after 10pm on weekends. I miss so much going to bed at 8pm Sun-Thurs.

What popped into my mind this morning were all the comments I see about people adamant about only having 1 litter box. The reason being is because I watched Boone dig and dig and dig away like he was about to use it. Then suddenly decide "nope" and headed to the other one and proceeded to go potty. I started wondering what happens when a cat decides for no particular reason that the box isn't suitable and there are no other options.

Graceful-Lily Graceful-Lily I think you should have a look at some of the videos on Summer Rayne Oakes channel and embrace your plant addiction with open arms. There are lot of people who have filled their homes with plants and they look absolutely stunning. If it makes you happy and it's not making you broke then just enjoy it.

Little nervous. The first part of my novel One Riddle Man is being critiqued right now. I'm so scared it sounds stupid or something to other people. Maybe that's why I never get around to finishing up these novels/stories I write is because of fear of rejection. :(

I'm so nervous right now I'm in the bathroom very ill to my stomach. Ugh.

I guess I'm cut out to be a writer as much as I'm cut out to be a colony caretaker. :( Or maybe I should just write them down for myself only and forget about publishing as that's probably just a pipe dream anyway.

And it's easy to judge someone if they have never suffered anxiety and tell them all kinds of things. Not everyone can "not worry" about things. It's a disorder. That's why there's therapy for such a thing.

I will say that the change of set up worked well, except Treasure swatting at one of the raccoon kids haha. Otherwise there was no big hassle. And the raccoons moved on after an hour to someone else's yard. I'll leave this as is til and then gradually decrease. Since they do scare away human intruders I want to leave something out for them but I can't afford to feed them 12 lbs of cat food a week. Either that or I thought of leaving their food down by the bushes to keep them from coming up in the cat area. Anyway we'll see.

I'm trying very hard not to call Celebrex a "miracle" medicine, but it's continued to amaze me.

I went to Blackwater Falls yesterday. I've always enjoyed visiting parks and forests, but my pain has usually made it very difficult for me to keep up with my family. This time, I lasted much longer than I usually do. I'm definitely sore, but not nearly to the extent that I usually am.

I am hoping my youngest's ROTC PT is not on the football field so I can walk the track to get my daily walk in. Otherwise I will have to waste 20 of my 60 minutes in between driving to/from the school.
