He waved at me.. they do that. It's really cute.
Was it a fast arm or slow? I would love to have them here but I'd have to buy them parkas, hoodies, boots for all their
toes, sweaters, scarves, etc. It would be fun creating a warm wardrobe.💖

“Indigenous people of South America” which is new and I think so interesting. I think it goes way way back, but I am going to see what I can find out.
Scientists think some indigenous people came to South America from Europe through the Bering Strait thousands of years ago.

M maggiedemi How is your food from your Aldi's order?

Going to be a beautiful day today! All day sun but not out of the low 60s. I'll take it. Four hours with humidity under 40%, wait we are in Ohio, yeah?? My parka is out but I'll have to attach the hood if it's going to be this cold. I have warm boots and I'll need to wear long underwear but no worries. I plan on making hot cocoa with whipped cream, yum!! and I have good books!:yess::read:

I actually don't really like regular kimchi. My favorite is radish kimchi which is called Kkakdugi
I want to get the spicy hot kimchi, not the mild one. 🌶

That's my positive. Aldi was out of some things, so they substituted. Luckily they picked things that I liked. They were out of General Tso sauce, so they gave me Teriyaki sauce. It has pineapple & ginger in it! They were out of the vegetarian chickenless strips, so they gave me tofu, which I love. I ate a cherry, pineapple, pear, peach fruit cup for breakfast, and drank the French roast coffee. All good! 👍

Hauled the snowblower out and it started on the second try. It does seem silly on a gorgeous 70 something degree day but in six weeks we could be buried in snow. I hope not but if your snowblower doesn’t start you want to at the front of the repair service line and not have to wait weeks to get it back. I just need to change the oil on it, a messy but relatively easy job and it will be ready to go.

My positive is that I didn't have to start from scratch with my daily walks again. Despite the weight gain from when I stopped, it wasn't enough to prevent me from going several miles and needing to rest. I have no problem going distances but needed the motivation to start. 🙂

DD and I both got new shoes today. We actually got the same pair... :paperbag: But I promise I asked and she was ok with it! She's only 2 sizes below me in Women's shoes now. As soon as I put them on I could feel the cushion difference compared to the ones I've been working out in for 2 years. I just need to see if I have the right insole cover for them. I love my insoles because I only have to replace the topcovers from time to time. the actual supports you remove and velcro into the new ones. It saves a lot of money!

Because of the travel restrictions and lockdown here with the Covid virus stopping friends and relatives visiting and helping out the handicapped people and the elderly, my vet (family friend) asked if I could pick up an injured dog from a house 1/2 a Km away from me and deliver to the vet. The vet has only got 3 people working there at the moment and are so busy its crazy and got no one to spare for pickups, not that they do it anyway.
Said OK and they sent me the exemption papers and a poster to print out to put on my windshield.
Done half a dozen now and it has been a blast..thinking I should buy a van and do this full time.
The border collie that washed my face at every stop light was hilarious..lol
And the appreciation on the owners faces is wonderful when you bring their pet back.

That sounds like career goals to me!! I’ve had to take two cats to the vet with a toddler and infant in tow. Thankfully my vets office has an awesome staff and saw me coming so they came out to help and helped me back out!

It has been awesome fun but strapping a horse to the roof rack could be a problem :)

Long but scenic walk at a nature preserve. Very peaceful and people were spread out so social distancing was not a problem. The weather could not have been nicer (73 F) and not a cloud in the sky.

Bless you for doing that for those precious furbabies. 👍

That's beautiful. Are there any wild animals on the preserve? I love all animals, but I'm afraid of the wild ones. 🐻

My positive is Dad and I are trying out Walmart pickup tomorrow! I placed the grocery order and they will bring it out to his car at 8am. We'll see how it goes! We got lots of fun stuff.

I got to do something kind of special today. ☺ My BFF is an amazing clothing designer and seamstress. She does a lot with a vintage 40s style inspiration. Our mothers were good friends too before her mom passed about 16 years ago.

A few weeks ago when DH and I were cleaning out the garage and attic I came across a gift bag from my bridal shower (17 years ago). It was from BFF’s mom! It had lingerie and a pair of those stockings with a seam up the back that BFF uses in photo shoots. They never fit me so I had left the gift in its bag all these years. I text BFF a picture and asked if she wanted them. She told me she cried.:touched:

So today I dropped that bag off to her. And I got a little emotional myself thinking I must have saved that gift for a reason. :redheartpump:

And we are both pretty amused that the most risqué piece of lingerie I ever owned came from her mother. She was hilarious!
