Doesn't work on kids, either. Or at least not on Aedan. He's too smart for that.
It doesn’t often work on my son either. He looks at me like really mom? 🤨 He actually got ready for bed faster last night when I never said anything to him at all about bedtime. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sometimes I miss the days when DH could get DD to eat by taking a bite from her plate. She did turn out to be a fabulous eater.

Well I’m not a good judge. I thought there waa a bond between Shaman and myself which by now is obvious there wasn’t. I wanted to get a good look though

Well Treasure is ok this morning. Still curious how he got that scratch on his nose but he seems ok again. Sopdet is once again nowhere to be seen. Probably hunkering down to warm up. We dropped to 47 degrees overnight. I'm loving it actually but I'm a cold weather person.

Trying to figure out where to put these cams that show activity day and night and figure out how to illuminate the IR light at night. No outlets outside so I may have to see if there is a Solar option. No solar lights as my Mom suffers chronic insomnia so don't want a light shining in her eyes. Plus I need to earn some money to feed these cats. Since Treasure and Sopdet are the only 2 cats remaining (the others ran off by Treasure to the other colonies) I can start cutting back on the food I put out at nights. Harrison will just have to find a neighbor's garbage can. I can't afford him, the females and the total of 9 youngsters. I wish I could but I just can't.

If I knew what raccoons ate but a food that cats hated I wouldn't mind but I can see Treasure eating a fruit or veggie and getting very sick.

BTW: neither he or Sopdet likes eggs. haha

Sitting here watching Treasure staring into the bushes waiting on Shaman. Just like he has done every day since last October. I suppose it hasn't registered with him that he ran her off. And personally I have no idea if she's still alive or not. I hear so many differing stories from my neighbors that I don't know what to believe . And it hurts you know? She was the first of these cats to come to me

Well, there ya go. Raccoons love eggs. And they're pretty cheap. So if you want to spoil them you could leave some eggs out. Boiled would probably be less messy than raw, and if you really don't want any mess at all, peeling them would be tidiest---no shells for them to leave around. Lol, if you're peeling eggs for raccoons, they're very spoiled! :D

Oh really. I didn't know that. I knew they liked climbing into garbage and eating from the cans but that is a good solution. Thank you. :)

raccoons will eat pretty much anything. i used to put out cat food or apples, bananas, corn muffins, hot dogs for them. i have also made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for them. you could also give them dry dog food but eggs would be the best thing to feed them.

That creepy guy in the next building over has been lurking just off to the side of his slider door lately :paranoid: Really weird.
Today is the first weekend working since the problem tech was fired. The black hole is still just that :gaah: I spent well over an hour in there fixing issues. The person who is now assigned the area is a newbie so I should cut him some slack but still :frustrated: The weekend person should not have to do work that was supposed to have been done on Friday. It just rude to leave work for the weekend person and everyone knows full well that it's not just rounds :bat: There are technical things that need to be done and some are time sensitive or takes up a lot of time to complete. The few same people complain about all the extra work they do on weekends but they're also the same people who leave extra work for another person to do :angrywoman:

I know. I haven't seen Little Bit since mid-July, and she didn't bring any kittens to me, although I KNOW she had a litter sometimes in very late June or early July. We love them, then they're gone, and we grieve. This would have been my fourth litter with her, so it is VERY hard! But her babies from previous years still come. I found homes for four of them over the years, only last year's are still with me, except for poor little Skittles, who came to me too sick to help. I was with him until his last breath. I wish he had come sooner.
