Poor rivel was napping on the coffee table, rolled over when she saw me then fell lol
I had a cat back in the 70's/80's that used to sleep on top of our TV because it got warm. They would stretch or roll over and fall off. Funny thing is that there was a video on AFV years ago that showed the same thing and they won $10,000 and maybe even the $100,000 grand prize. I could have been rich!!! :fuming::lol:

Gracie was crying this morning for no particular reason (not normal for her). And one of her babies (felt mouse) was soaking wet. I was in the kitchen so she didn't drop it in her water bowl so it must have been one of the toilet. (She must have fished it out herself) Eww!! Anyway Boone and I went into my room where she was crying to sit with her. She sat on my lap for a bit and now is asleep on my bed. Boone is by my bedroom window asleep on the ironing board.

I don't know if the crying was because of her wet baby or loneliness but she seems content now. 🤷‍♀️

Carleton is meowing and batting his toy ball around the floor because he wants to play. His wish is my command! :worship:

I took neely neely 's advice and bought some treats for my husband to keep downstairs to give Boone and Gracie. We heard a ruckus downstairs and I found them both on the stairs with the bag of treats ripped up. I am going to assume this was all Gracie's idea and Boone was just an innocent by-stander who took advantage of Gracie's crime.

Funny thing is that the treats were not in plain site. They were actually at the bottom of a plastic bag with a bag of chips and a huge container of peanuts. She had to work to get them out of that bag and halfway up the stairs before she got caught.

I just let Willow out of the closet she has been shut in for at least three hours. I heard a little scratching a couple times and thought she was playing in the hallway. Glad I finally got up to check because Willow being the polite and patient cat she is there wasn’t a single meow out of her.

Willow is having an emotional meltdown because some of the dining room furniture is out of place as I work on the floor and that may In her view be a sign of a pending apocalypse. Three trips running to the basement to hide and a trip to the closet..
How is Willow doing..she getting a bit more social?

Thanks for asking. Overall she is doing really really well compared to just a few years ago. Definitely more social with me. This last year is the first that she would lay next to me in my recliner and at first she was on alert and would tear off every time I moved at all. Now she sleeps at my feet pretty much dead to any movement I might make. And my when my son and his girlfriend came over last week she actually came upstairs and stayed with us a few minutes. That is a first.

She does have some days like today where she reverts to old fearful behavior but she gets over them much quicker than she used to.

Thats great..slowly getting there and trusting a lot more.
With the Covid thing and having a lot of time at home I have given Blue hell poking and prodding him, waking him up with pats when he is asleep, basically annoying the crap out of him getting him angry then turning his anger to play, finally getting it into his head that he doesnt have to be suspicious of the motives of someone touching or handling him....it can be fun too.
It worked...can even play with his paws, rub his belly and pick him up and carry him without him trying to escape.
Pretty much a normal cat now.
