My new rescue baby finally has a name!!
Meet Thomas or Mr. Tommy Boy.

He is a hard one to pin point for me. Initially I just thought he'd be a solid gray cat when he got older, since he is primarily gray with bits of white. BUT! If you look close to his torso and hind legs, he has some stripeage going on! Tabby perhaps? I've never seen a dark grey tabby before and I am SO curious to know what he will look like when he's older!!

Also the one picture is of him on his favorite blanket. I swear he will not sleep if that blankey is not under him.

He's super cute! :redheartpump:

I would describe him as a solid blue domestic shorthair. Ghost tabby patterns are normal on blue cats. They will mostly fade in adulthood, although he might still have slight stripes on his tail even as an adult.

My Gypsy is dark blue and she has retained her stripes. She has white socks and a white mask covering her muzzle. What makes Mr. Tommy Boy so unique looking is that he is solid blue but has stripes. He is literally a dark blue tabby.

I love that first photo of him because you can see so many of his stripes. I am like you, I have never seen a tabby that dark. He is cool looking.

He is adorable! Does he have big paws or is it just the angle of the pic?
