My 65 mile commute this morning seemed to go by really fast (and it's not because I was doing 70 mph most of the way. I always do that! ). And there was a nice light show (lightning) the entire way to watch as I'm driving. Didn't start raining until I was about to cross into Virginia from Maryland.
Is it 65 miles you drive every day!!!

When I got up yesterday I couldn't use my mouse, changed the batteries, still didn't work. I tried using
the key pad but it's difficult wih my hand and arm probs. Kaylee bought a new one for me and I like it
much better. The broken one was only $5.00.I had asked K to buy the cheapest one so it's my own fault.
This one is so much better.

Well, my tomatoes didn't grow, I'll try again next year. I heard they were selling my fave Heirloom at the Farmer's
Mkt which is open at Saturdays from 9-12pm. It's only 3 blocks from me, so I'll ry to go on Saturday.

Way too brutally hot to be outside except for early am so I've been resting my knee, reading, and snuggling with
big Cal.

Finally got a haircut yesterday!! I showed her a pic from a Southern Living online article about hairstyles.
It's called a shaggy bob but I think it's still too long. I ended up putting it up in a small ponytail. The model's
hair in the pic was too short for a p.t so I'll see how I like it. I ordered Rewind from Amazon so once that
arrives I'll be able to scrunch it and style it.
I am sorry about your tomato’s. Maybe next year buy a plant that already has blossoms on it and it’s more likely you will get tomatoes early. One plant in a large pot can produce quite a few tomato’s.

Yay! I found a product that gets rid of the funky wet dog odor that that been growing in my dishwasher. I tried cleaning it out with lemon juice and vinegar but that didn’t really help and it has been so stinky I was ready to replace it. The product is called Affresh and it removes lime scale and buildup in the tubes and mechanisms of the dishwasher. I was skeptical but six treatments, a tablet you toss in the bottom of the dishwasher, only cost $8 so I went with it. Not only is the odor gone but the dishwasher seems to be cleaning better than it has for a long time. It’s still a fifteen year old dishwasher but maybe I can get another year or two out of it.

Thanks, Susan. I'll do that. I wanted to try growing from seeds just didn't work out.🍅

Can't wait for cooler weather. I wish my landlord would buy a sun setter for the deck, but that's not going to happen, ha!
Walked to town yesterday because my helper forgot some things. I didn't think I'd make it there and back but after sitting on
a bench that was in the shade and drinking a Jones grape soda, I got my second wind. When I got home I took off my cotton
sweats, very lightweight, my shirt, and rested on the bed for an hour. the ac was on full blast but it took me-awhile to get cooled
downed so I had my second shower of the day. Cal snuggled with me, she was glad to see me when I came in the door.
I was knackered and fell asleep early. Again Cal slept near me, daring girl.

My positive is that even though I know zero about dogs, I seem to have good instincts with them. That pitbull jumped out at me again on my walk. I usually can calm him by talking sweetly to him. But this time he crossed the road and lunged at me. He was right by my hand. I was going to reach out and pet him, but his teeth looked so sharp. So instead I raised my hand and pointed to his yard and yelled "Get Back!" And he obeyed me! Get Back must be a command that dogs learn? He's really a good boy for obeying me. ❤

He was right by my hand.
Maybe he thought you had treats for him. ;)

Slept like a baby last night and woke up feeling well rested. Lately I've been waking up in the middle of the night and then have trouble falling back to sleep. Of course Carleton felt it necessary to be my alarm clock and let me know it's time for breakfast.

Gracie is most definitely back to her normal self! Toy mice all over the house. Gracie has been running around the house non-stop since I got home at 3:30. She destroyed a pack of toilet paper by ripping the plastic and shredding the toilet paper as fast as she could before I caught her. She also tried to shred the Pringles box but I saw her immediately and put a stop to that quick. Her and Boone have been horsing around with each other. God helps us... our Gracie is back!!

Mags,

Does he seem to want attention or is he aggressive? Be careful, their jaws have about 70 lbs of pressure. I had
an American Staffordshire Terrier, the official name of pitbulls back in the 70s, before people over bread and mistreated
hem. He was my boyfriend's dog, a real sweetheart.

Very hot, I feel sorry for the people in the west who are having such beastly hot temps.
Yesterday I read for a bit but could not tolerate the heat past 10:00 or so. I have good
books and DVDs from the library so I'm staying in.

Nicole called on her way home from work to say she had something for me. I waited
outside and when pulled into the driveway, she had 2 Bath&BodyWorks Candles for me.
Sweater Weather, ha!! One of my fave scents! So not sweater weather yet, hee, hee

Little tabby just came for brekkie, sweet boy.
