I filled a spray bottle but now I don't remember if it was tap water or bottled water. Anyway if it was tap water it has sat long enough for the chlorine to dissipate.

I have a bonsai-ish "ponytail palm" at work, kind of looks like those Dracaenas. Yes, he wears lights all year long. He's festive!

Oh, the English ivy! I haven't had much success with them in the past. It seems like you go one day without watering it and it goes crispy right away, lol. But this one seems to be doing all right so far, even though I was out sick last week and nobody else watered it.

Graceful-Lily Graceful-Lily Look at those airplants! They are all so different. My favorites are the one on the left and the bottom dark green one.

doomsdave doomsdave Nice! The large one with the sparse leaves is my favorite as well as the last one, the Dracena marginata in your office.

W Willowy The lights look so cute on that tree. It also has such a thick stump. It is very cute! Is the top flat? Did someone make a cutting or trim it? Also, do I see leaf propagations to the right?? Are those succulent leaves or something else?

LTS3 LTS3 The grass few so big!

Potting day. New cuttings that started growing roots, second plant that was cut in case of rot that grew roots, some hen and chicks that grew roots, and another baby ready to be planted.

Norachan Norachan See my dinosaur planters?? Finally used them <3

Hen and chicks. The one on the left looks sad, but still had a tiny, tiny root showing, so hoping it will survive.

Baby! Pulled lower leaves off of the etiolated stem to start it off as a cute rosette.

These two cuttings (left and right) have had new growth evident by the green. Let's see if I can give them enough sun to get the dark colors.
SAM_0630.JPG

Some of the leaves from the newest batch of cuttings are doing something! These are growing a tiny leave, but not from the base of the stem.... can you find them? And a couple other pics of other leaves from this batch.

I've also been following the sun with my acclimated plants. It seems the new location doesn't get enough sun to make a difference, so I leave them on top of the grill, then move them onto the floor of the patio, and then down a couple of the balcony stairs. We'll see what difference this may make.

Same with mine! I have to water it almost every day or else the leaves start browning. And it gets all droopy and sad looking. The moment any of the stems bend slightly, I know it needs a few sprays.

I guess that kind of plant always has a thick trunk. Another name is "elephant palm". It has the top cut off and the stump is waxed over. All of them were like that, I don't know if it's a bonsai technique or what. It's also glued into its pot :/. I think it's meant to be office decor that lasts a couple years but not meant for longevity. I'll have to figure out how to chip the glued gravel out soon too.

The propagates are from the Easter cactus. I think I saw some little roots starting!

I couldn't wait. The crocheting is taking a long time and I didn't want to leave them laying around. I made some hangers with left over wire and airline tubing, slapped 'em on the wall, and called it a day.

This is what it looks like all together. I'm going to be cutting the glass tomorrow with my rotary tool.

Oh, that's interesting! I've never seen them grow like that before. My succulent babies are all doing well, almost ready to toddle

Beautiful! Those are so simple and effective. You could sell things like that on Etsy.

I swear Leroy is part herbivore because he loves grass so much

My Pilea is definitely a goner :frown: I have no idea why it just stopped doing well a few months ago. I'll have to look for another one at the garden center.

How many succulents do you have all together now?
Not enough ;) 🤣

Survived the box on top of closet at my rental and still alive: 3 (2 cacti and 1 hen and chicks)

For cuttings, 24 have rooted and beenpotted, 18 are waiting for roots to appear

Pieces that have rooted from other plants mentioned above: 3

Babies with shriveled mama leaf that were planted: 3

Plus about 30 leaves with little babies growing, and many more that either just have roots or waiting to see if anything happens.

Very nice! Did you make the dinosaur planter yourself?

I wish! Bought it off Amazon. This 2 pack was just over $10, which was the cheapest I could find for dinosaur planters. Although, the price is higher up now.

Graceful-Lily Graceful-Lily Bet this would be a hot item!

This peace lily hasn't adapted to the hydroponic system all that well. I've been having issues with it since the beginning and they only seem to be getting worse. It's leaves always show signs of overwatering and its base continues to rot no matter what I do. I might have to remove it and toss it.

mani mani So creepy, yet so cool! Some people have used old dolls with the head cut off, which looks so neat and reminds me a bit of this. Someone else had a whole halloweenish set with. One of the really creative things that I loved was a small bathtub filled with succulents and a skeleton poking out like it was taking a bath in plants.
