I'm not a raccoon expert as Harrison is not a typical raccoon but does this one here look too thin? She has babies (not sure if they are the ones I saw in the area the other night or Patty's). This one has a voracious appetite. I"m a bit concerned for her to be honest. Yes I worry even about the worms in my back yard. I'm wondering if she's ok to take care of her babies (I saw her on another cam with red swollen teats). So I know this is a female. Anyone know?

Any raccoon experts or wildlife people here?

She seems healthy otherwise, except thinking she could stand on the arm of the chair lol. Maybe she's just thin from nursing her kits?

Nursing does take a lot of calories, and raccoons usually look pretty ratty in their summer coats. I can't see her ribs, so I don't think she's sick or anything. If you really wanted to spoil her (and can afford it), you could put a little KMR/Puppy Esbilac (whichever is cheaper) out for her while she's nursing.

Ok thanks. I haven't seen raccoons while they were nursing so I got naturally concerned for her. I'm used to seeing Patty with her kits as well as Harrison all nice and fat. I'll look into that and see. Maybe I can fatten up Sopdet as well with some, although Sopdet is just tiny especially next to Treasure.
