I've been jeans shopping online with my stimulus money. In the reviews for some of the dark rinse jeans people are complaining about the dye running and turning things blue. Have you guys ever had that happen?

Every time I get new jeans, I forget and everything turns blue again! Yes, wash them separately at least 3 times, some will still bleed after that but most don't.

As far as I know, jeans have always had fairly soluble dye. That's why they age so nicely.
yeah, the dye is actually higher quality if it runs. The premium quality Levi's are intentionally soaked in too much indigo dye to get that aged fade that is unique to how you wear them. I've had this one pair for a year and I still get blue hands if it itch my leg lol

Wondering how hard it is for Apple to answer me about the camera and how to adjust settings. Also wondering if it's a big top secret that they can't answer me. They made the phones and software for crying out loud

Since all the cats are gone I have to do something to get my mind off my heartbreak and sorrow. And Apple just refuses to cooperate with me.

It is so beautiful and warm out today, I already got the watering done for the morning, about 1000 more seeds planted, my mangoes are just beginning to peek their green foliage up and out and the mourning doves are cooing. I coo back of course.
There is a new bird that is quite large with red top and black beak, it is quite stunning and I need to find out the name. For now I whistle to and with it, I think I'm gonna name him Fire Angel. ♥ :silver: 🌻🦅
The owl is there too. 🦉🦆🐞🕊🐦:):silver:🌷

What brands of jeans do you guys wear? Would you ever buy a pair made by Amazon? They have their own brand now. They also have jeans that I've never heard of- Joe's Jeans, Design by Olivia, Ariat, NYDJ, Meilidress, Silver Jeans Co, Wallflower... Have you ever heard of any of these?

Every brand/model of jeans is different, and every body is different, so what fits on one person will look terrible on anybody else. You really just have to try them on first.

Amazon has (or used to) have a Wardrobe function thet let you order clothes to try on. Might be a good idea.

Wondering what I did wrong that now even Treasure left. 😢
Sweetie...almost certainly nothing. We who love and care for ferals get our hearts broken daily. It's part of it. Cats that you see daily and who trust you just...disappear, and you never know why. The world is so big, and they are so small, and the dangers are so very many. But you? YOU gave them everything they knew of love and home. Nothing you did drove them away. I am still hoping that my Little Bit will turn up again, while knowing that she may not. I did see Austin this last week, after he was missing for two months, so my Grand Old Man is still living. Battered, but living.

I've thought about the ethics of ordering online during this time because of safety for the workers, too, but at some point realized, how else can I get some of these items? Especially be able to afford it. Walmart doesn't do curbside except for groceries. It's tough. Glad you were able to get the items you needed somehow.

Yes, exactly. That is even more of a reason to stay home the next couple of weeks as much as possible. Hope you stay safe. <3
I've definitely ordered online quite a bit since the pandemic started. Baby swing, bassinet, baby clothes, car seat, etc. And, Amazon has a thing where if you create a baby registry and total purchases add up to $500, you get 20% off diapers for the next year. We put everything we were going to buy on the registry for the entire pregnancy - things we were gonna buy anyway - and unlocked the discount. Plus, I couldn't leave the house to go shopping! We ordered Aedan a little trampoline as a "Big Brother Present."

He's had some jealousy, but not too bad. He was trying to nurse again and someone suggested that I let him try because he'd probably forgotten how. Well, he didn't forget but he got a mouthful and made a face and said, "Ewww" so I guess I win? I'll take it. He hasn't tried since. Before he got the trampoline, he wasn't wanting much to do with baby sister. After, he started giving her kisses and demanding to hold her, etc. So I'll call that another win.

Aww, what a nice big brother! I always wanted an older brother, I didn't like being the oldest.

I was about that much older than my baby brother, and I can actually remember that my mom offered to let me nurse after I hadn't for a few months. And I couldn't remember how to do it, and I was so sad. The things we remember from young childhood, lol! I wonder if he'll remember not liking it anymore.

No idea! I'm just glad the mini tantrums because he wanted to nurse are over!

Aislyn is back. We just got her today. She loves her baby sister, too. :) And both kids love the new blankies my newly found grandma made them. Alianna has one, too, but it's a bit thick and warm to wrap her in right now. It'll be amazing for winter, though!

And, it poured down rain today. This evening, we took the kids out for a bit. Aedan stood next to the puddle and looked at it, then looked at me. I told him to go ahead. LOL; they had a blast.

Today I'm going to figure out what is scaring these cats off because like the term says, I'm supposed to take care of and if this bunch is being scared off then another colony will find out the same. But I have an entire thread in the feral forums explaining all of this. And also when you have one cat that constantly yowls, cries, refuses to eat because his buddies took off then it is a concern that something is wrong. Not to mention Treasure suffers separation anxiety (I suppose from that hoarding situation he came from) so even if I am cleaning the area he walks off with tail between his legs. :(

Anyway I got a hold of a feline behaviorist that is willing to help me brainstorm what may be happening here. Regardless of what anyone says, I am doing something wrong. Other caretakers in this area aren't having this issue. I checked with them on Next Door.

Also getting a haircut today. Currently I look like I should be living in a cardboard box on the street because my hair looks dirty when it gets long.

To top it off, I'm still fighting with Apple to tell me this top government secret on how to adjust my camera setting so I can take the 4 megapixels that the place who pays me wants but won't accept cropped or edited photos. I had no idea this was such a CIA or FBI type situation to take iPhone 11 Pro photos but apparently it is. :(

I love that too. Aedan has a great little personality. Thanks for the pics. They are precious. Lovely blankies!

My brothers weren't nice until we were adults. They used to torture me. Now they constantly send me little gifts. That might be because I almost died though.

What a deal! Wish they had that for succulent and plant materials 🤣

That's too funny with Aedan. Guess it worked, haha.

I'm thinking about buying some pothos and peace lilies to grow on top of my aquarium. I've taken the dividers out and bought 3 guppies. Might stop by the garden centre today to see what they have.
Pictures of the guppies?? I used to keep guppies throughout growing up and enjoyed letting them breed. It was always neat to see what colors the babies grew into.
