Hi all! My name is Angie and I like animals, but I've never been much of a cat person until but about 2 years ago when I moved to an estate that houses a population of strays. I fell in love with their antics, and I've been caring for them, feeding, sterilising and taking them to the vet, with the help of my cat-loving neighbours.

My phone is always running out of space because it's constantly filled with pictures of the cats lol I decided to share my pictures and videos online because I want more people to know that stray cats too can be friendly, sweet and affectionate if treated right, and all cats deserve to be loved. I know you guys love seeing happy cats, so here I am!

I'll post in random order because I have such a huge backlog that sieving through and organising them is taking ages.

This is Crooktail, probably my favourite cat of all. She is named as such because her tail ends in a hook, which you can't see in this video but I'll post more pictures in future. She is extremely loving and is always rubbing my legs whenever she gets the chance. She got pregnant last year before I could take her for sterilisation, and I felt sorry for her so I did my best to give her extra food and attention, and I guess that's why she's so trusting towards me. She forgave me almost immediately after I took her back from her the scary vet.

This is another of my favourite tabby cat Xiaojie. Xiaojie in Chinese (小姐) means little lady, and although Xiaojie is a boy, he is such an attention seeker with a high-pitched mewing voice, who gets visibly upset and sulky when there are other cats stealing his attention that I think of him as a fussy little miss. You'll definitely see a lot more of him here. He is too cute! He is the cat in the first picture in this thread.

These are Charlie (Tuxedo) and Fuzzy (Tabby), another of my favourites (I have too many favourites! lol).
Charlie is a docile cat who loves pats and massages. He is also one of the rare ones who's ok with people touching his belly! Fuzzy was just a kitten last year (she was born in our estate) and now she's a greedy, chubby and playful thing.

This is all for now. I'll be back with more soon!

This cat lives in another neighbourhood but I can't not share this. What a gorgeous, fluffy, fat white tabby! And she was so friendly too! I saw her loitering around the neighbourhood shops and when I went up to her, she just started rubbing and rolling. She must be well-loved by the residents.

They are gorgeous kitties! I used to be not much of a cat person either until two years ago (just like you lol) when some feral and stray cats started showing up at our house and I started caring for them. I have lost my heart to these cats lol. Look forward to seeing more of your kitties!!

Sorry it's been so long since I updated and much has changed! I have rescued and adopted one of the cats Fuzzy last July, planning to adopt another one this week (very excited, a little stressed and anxious, hoping it all goes fine). One cat has crossed the rainbow bridge too early. :(

I've accumulated so many photos and videos now it's gonna be hard to organise it all and decide which ones to post, but I'll try.

Here's a picture of Fuzzy stalking my mum by the baby gate in front of the kitchen.

Back to revive this thread :hellosmiley: Hope everyone and their kitties are well and safe in these times.

Here's a video of my mum playing with one of our community cats Felix. It is mandatory to wear masks now in Singapore due to the Covid19. Fortunately we can still feed the kitties!

I've been really busy lately but I found some time to make and post this video of 2 of my favorite community cats Xiaojie and Bruno. I love feeding puree to my cats because they look like they really enjoy it so much with their little tongues licking vigorously. But feeding it to many cats can be expensive so I only give it to them as an occasional treat.

Yes I did already feed him:

Sharing videos of 2 beautiful blackies today:

It was a cold rainy day and Felix kept trying to rub our legs. I think he was cold, poor thing. So I picked him up to warm him. He's such a good boy and allowed me to cradle him for a bit. Then he stretched out his paws to signal that he wanted his feet back on the ground, which I quickly obliged.

Daisy: "I approve of this water" 👅👅👅 I hope you agree with me that her tongue is gif-perfect 😋

Today is Chinese New Year and the Chinese would give red packets containing money to their children and younger relatives. As more young Singaporeans regard their pets as their children and are in fact opting to have fur kids over human kids, I don't know if giving red packets to pets is a thing yet.
But we figured we could give our cats and community cats red packets that they would really enjoy :lovecat3:

My cat Fuzzy giving my Mum extra cuddles for Mother’s Day.

Fuzzy is usually a lap cat, but her body language seems extra cuddly and loving today! Look at her eyes filled with love and her tiny paw grabbing my mum's shirt and pressing against my mum as though she's hugging her 😍 She must know it's Mother's Day 🤓 (P.S. Fuzzy does this to me too but no one else in my house is good with the camera 🥺)

My mum has always been an animal lover, and she was always very responsible and kind to all pets we had when I was growing up. Hamsters, terrapins etc... I guess that's how I became an animal lover too. I want to record my appreciation to my mum for supporting my cat lady endeavours. She doesn't agree with everything I do, but she tries her best to support me, and looks after my cats on my behalf when I have other commitments.

Happy Mother's Day to all who identify as mums dedicating their lives and caring for another living being, be they humans or animals. It's never easy, but hope you get to enjoy a well-deserved worry-free break!

Hey there! Nice to her from you again.

Yes, Fuzzy is one sticky tape which is an envy of many here.

Glad that you are still caring for the community cats and we hope to see more photos. Take care and stay safe.
